Provider is SAP and highly trustable vendor and go for it. It has central monitoring approach where we can monitor every components in a single view. **What do you dislike about PI Monitor?** Some features are not supported in PI monitor Process in log,Ping of a channel,Force stop or start etc. **What problems is PI Monitor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Central PI monitoring support proactive monitoring of components generates notifications and incidents for PI related issues. Component monitor provides complete overview of all important components (Adapter engine,Mapping runtime and integration directory), Channel monitor provides complete view of channel we can stop or start the PI channels in this. Message monitor ,Message search and Message based alerts all provision the visualization,Payload search and alerting. So this makes the PI monitor more convenient to use and get details of all components easy with no time. ### 2. It allows the user to pull up the history of a particular equipment or device. Makes troubleshooting much more accessible and straightforward. **What do you dislike about PI Monitor?** Pi is excellent for optimisation, meaning instruments and equipment should have an automated signalling system inbuilt into them. Unfortunately, for old equipment and instruments, this does not work well for them as the only way is to change them, which means more cost. **What problems is PI Monitor solving and how is that benefiting you?** Monitors and stores data of the equipment and instrument in the process plant.
