"Night-and-Day SEO & GEO Visibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

They've been great for improving our SEO and GEO presence and ranking. I've not got a pretty clear picture of where we're showing up across Google, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI search platforms. We're also monitoring where competitors are getting mentioned instead of us, where we're missing opportunities, and how we're trending over time. Because the AI trends change so frequently, the visibility let's us pivot quickly when we need to - AND also explain to my execs what's changed, why we're pivoting and the impact it'll have now and later.

I do love agent Atlas. It's their AI tool in the Atlas console. This thing is connected to our own data, so I can go in and ask questions or look into something whenever I want instead of having to wait for a report. It's tracking how often we're showing up for the kinds of questions our buyers are actually asking, which gives us a much better sense of whether we're making progress.

The team is as hands-on as I hoped they would be. They're not just sending over reports or pointing out problems. They help us figure out what needs to change and actually work on fixing it. They've got some really experienced people who know the space well, and the combination of their team and the technology works really well.

They're also very organized. Projects stay on track, communication is consistent, and we always know what's going on. We have specific goals built into our agreement, and they take those seriously. When we're the bottleneck, they will ping us to keep us on track and I love that!

We've seen a good improvement in our visibility across both traditional search and AI platforms since working with them. Overall, it's been a really good partnership, and I would 100% recommend them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

The coverage of LLMs keeps expanding but I want it to go wider and faster. Because Agent Atlas capabilities also meant waiting for features I wanted immediately. I'd say these are minor points given how quickly the product is moving. The visibility and insight I'm getting compared to not having this is night and day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Still My Go-To AI Writing Assistant"
5/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

Pepper has remained reliable and continues to help me create high-quality content much faster. I appreciate how its AI-generated suggestions have become more relevant, making it easier to refine emails, blog posts, social media content, and marketing copy. The interface is easy to use, and it consistently helps improve productivity and content quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

I would like to see more customization options for tone and writing style, along with faster response times for longer content. Adding more templates for niche industries and improving factual accuracy in AI-generated content would make the platform even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Pepper Gives Clear AI & Google Visibility—and Helps Us Act on It"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

What I like most about Pepper is that it gives us a much clearer picture of how our brand is actually showing up across Google and AI platforms, and then helps us do something about it. It’s not just another dashboard that tells you there’s a problem and leaves you to figure out the rest. The combination of their AI agents and the team behind them means we can spot gaps, understand where competitors are getting visibility, and actually take action to improve it. I also like that we can work with our own data and get answers when we need them, rather than waiting for another report or weekly update. Overall, it feels much more like having an extension of our team than just using another SEO or AI visibility tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

The main downside is that some parts of the platform are still fairly new, so there are a few areas where I’d like more depth and flexibility. I’d love to see more historical data, more detailed competitor views, and broader coverage as new AI platforms become more relevant. A few integrations and publishing workflows are also still limited, which means some things still have to be handled manually outside the platform. That said, the product is evolving quickly, the team ships fast and most of what I have asked for has landed within weeks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Mixed Experience, Needs Improvement in Writing Quality"
1/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

I like how responsive Pepper is and that they are open to feedback and iterating on their quality pieces. We also have a shared Slack channel, which is the easiest way we communicate with them, along with a weekly call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

I'm not impressed with the quality of Pepper's writing or their technical review. The first drafts we received often sounded too generic, like they were written with average AI, which required three to five rounds of iteration despite the detailed onboarding of our business, goals and ideal client profile... The writing quality and some technical recommendations haven't added up, and have even hurt our AI visibility by incorrectly advising us to block important bots. I actually wouldn't recommend them, and for the same price as an enterprise contract, I think hiring someone in-house who understands business context would be more beneficial. "Streamlined Content Management with Powerful AI Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

I use Pepper Content for end-to-end content marketing support, and it helps me track and bifurcate content while maintaining consistency in quality and workflows. It reduces the back-and-forth of managing multiple freelancers, making the process quicker, organized, and performance-focused. I really like the dashboard for tracking writers and ongoing projects. My favorite part is how it combines human creativity with AI, making collaboration with creators easy, allowing feedback, and tracking everything on one platform. This brings structure and visibility to the entire content process, reducing miscommunication, saving time, and ensuring deadlines are met. The initial setup was highly easy with a complete walkthrough from the team, who also introduced new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

If I had to point out improvement areas, I would say that since Pepper Content has evolved quickly from a marketplace platform to an AI-led marketing platform, sometimes feature transitions or product positioning can feel a bit fast-paced for new users. Clearer communication around new features, pricing structure, or workflow changes could make adoption better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Needs improvement, there are many similar AI tools in the market"
3/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

The signup was easy and hassle-free. UI is clean and is easy to navigate, interact and use. The generated data from the prompts, data like ad copies, promotional video scripts, captions for social media, etc., are different from what other popular AI content generation tools, different in the sense that the LLM and all the background engineering they are doing is different from the traditional response we get from other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

The content generated by Petter Content often lacks variety; it becomes repetitive if I try to refine it further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Disheartening Experience: Money Wasted on Peppertype.ai"
0.5/5
What do you like best about Pepper?

Purchased Peppertype.ai from Appsumo on a Lifetime deal. Main thing I wanted was something to help me curate articles for our new blog and youtube channel. They also promised we'd have "all future updates" very clearly in their marketing. I think I paid a few hundred for the tool, which is more than I usually would since it would take place of having to hire an employee or contractor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pepper?

Fast forward six months and I logged in to find helpful SEO figures. The instructions said to email support, so I've emailed them over and over again. I'm on try #15 I think in trying to reach someone. Their automated response sends 6 emails at the same time saying they received my inquiry. Then I'll get 3 of the same follow up emails saying they'll get back to me. This happens each time but I've not received a response at all. Feels like I wasted my money and it seems I'll need to do a chargeback on my credit card even though I'd prefer just to have them follow through on their promise.
