"Functional Features Hampered by Slow Performance"

3/5

What do you like best about PDF Architect?

I like most of the features of PDF Architect. Specifically, I find the standard pagination features very valuable, where I can move pages around, reshuffle, and take pages out as needed. Additionally, I purchased the form add-on feature because we really need to edit our PDF forms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF Architect?

The program is quite slow, taking forty-five seconds to a minute or longer just to start up. If it wasn't so slow, I think I would recommend it to more people. The initial setup was difficult, with tech support and forms in emails not matching what's on the website. I ended up having to go through support, and it was frustrating because links didn't work a number of times. The software feels rather clunky and needs to be more responsive where things happen a little quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Alyona Lutsenko of PDF Architect

edit

Hi Gerald,

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear that PDF Architect is helping you manage multi-page PDFs efficiently, especially with page rearranging and extraction. Those tools are exactly what many teams rely on for everyday document workflows.

We’re sorry to hear about the slow startup time and the difficulties you experienced during initial setup and support. Performance is the area we’re actively improving, and your comments help us prioritize these enhancements. The same goes for onboarding and support links; they should be clear and consistent, and we regret that this wasn’t your experience.

It’s great to know PDF Architect is simplifying your work with rearranging, removing, and extracting pages. If startup speed or responsiveness is still an issue, our support team would be happy to review your setup and help optimize performance on your system.

Thanks again for your honest review. Feedback like this directly shapes future updates and helps us build a faster, smoother PDF editing experience for everyone.

"Cost-Effective PDF Editing Solution with Room for IT Enhancements"

5/5

What do you like best about PDF Architect?

I like that PDF Architect allows me and other staff the ability to edit PDFs at a reasonable cost. What stands out most is how affordable it is compared to the competition, being just a fraction of the cost compared to Acrobat Pro. This affordability helps a lot as it allows more budget for other necessities. The initial setup was straightforward, similar to any consumer-oriented software install. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF Architect?

I think PDF Architect could improve its compatibility with IT in a business setting. Having a sysadmin-friendly installer would be a good place to start. It would be nice to be able to push updates without hassling end-users. Also, having the ability to manage installs over a local network and remove update notifications on end-user machines would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hello Allistair,

Thank you for your feedback. We’re happy to hear the affordability and PDF editing features work well for your team and that setup was straightforward. "Essential Search for 100+ Page Documents"

4/5

What do you like best about PDF Architect?

The search facility is essential when I receive documents with over 100 pages and my only interest is to find one or two specific words. I also use it to transform my Word documents into PDF, and it consistently gives the best results, so anyone can use them afterwards without issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDF Architect?

The many sales promotions that are pushed to the front of the screen are distracting, even when I’m presenting to an audience.

I use it as a retired, unpaid volunteer for an NGO, and I only use it about once a day. For my needs, it feels expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
