The main areas for improvement would be payroll adjustments and reporting. It can sometimes be cumbersome to make certain pay corrections or adjustments, and the reporting functions are not always as intuitive as they could be. Easier access to commonly used reports, along with more flexibility when adjusting payroll entries, would save users time and make an already great system even better. Payworks provides a single platform where I can manage payroll, time and attendance, and absence management, which has made my job as an HR professional much more streamlined. I’ve run into a few minor issues with the payroll function. For example, there was a problem with STAT pay being paid out incorrectly; however, the team is usually quick to respond and help troubleshoot. Another concern is that the schedule isn’t colour-coded on the employee-facing side. I’ve raised this with the team, and they’ve escalated it for future review. Its very user friendly, if you run into any trouble, help is only a call away. The Payworks team is very knowledgeable and has never been unable to fix whatever issue I may have. They were also right there with me when we started using the software, walked me through the first steps and anything else along the way.
