I paid nearly $4,000 for access to information that I got from google from a reletively quick search. None of the pricing that I got was any cheaper than any other place I could find. I went into this expecting to be able to find a lot of parts cheaper, that is not the case. If I would have been able to check it out for even a month I would have been able to figure out that this is not worth my time and money. They stick you in a 1 year contract that you cant get out of and force you to pay even if you havent used it for 5 out of 6 months. I cant afford to pay for it and they say there is nothing they can do. This is probably one of the only places that I know of that won't let you cancel a service that has not yet been accomplished. They cold call, and are in my opinion legal scammers. **What problems is PartsBase solving and how is that benefiting you?** Connecting aircraft parts sellers to parts buyeers, and no it was not benefiting me ### 2. It is great that they record the history on parts when sold and bought along with other info such as government contracts. They have made that history accessible to the user which is a nice plus. The fairly recent update has been a great upgrade with usability and looks. Also, the ability to send out and accept quotes is easily done and works well. **What do you dislike about PartsBase?** Switching from ILS, I have noticed that there are many vendors we work with that are not listed. Some of those vendors are used a lot and it would be nice to see their stock, however, I understand this is not an issue with PartsBase, but it does hurt its value with my company. I also dislike the constant sales calls to get us back on PartsBase when we had previously terminated the service which was prior to the fairly recent update. **Recommendations to others considering PartsBase:** PartsBase is a solid option for individuals working in the Aerospace industry always on the search for mil-spec parts. Hundreds of vendors have their stock listed to search through, and it is straight forward and easy to use. PartsBase can help save time while increasing profit margins. **What problems is PartsBase solving and how is that benefiting you?** PartsBase has been a great tool for sourcing parts that our buyers are needing especially mil-spec parts that are hard to find. There is a large vendor pool to search from which has helped to shorten time spent searching. Ultimately, PartsBase has helped the company save money by receiving quotes from multiple vendors to get the best price rather than just a few.
