Pantones colour research and tools also make it amazing. **What do you dislike about Pantone?** They have a monopoly on the design industry and because of this they can charge outlandish prices with no care for designers because they know we need them and there isn't another industry standard. They take max advantage of this. **What problems is Pantone solving and how is that benefiting you?** Pantone creates standards for colour.This system ensures that designers, manufacturers, and suppliers can accurately specify, match, and reproduce a particular color across different materials, products, and production runs, preventing variations in the final product's appearance. I find that pantones can never be accurate on all items because substrates are different and depending on the substrate the colour might change. Technology such as the Technon check to ensure colours are accurate using the pantone book alone for colour accuracy is not enough. ### 2.
