What do you like best about Padre?

Padre, I like it for different reasons. For example, the user interface is simple and customizable. I like that he has a debugger inside the ide. It is also interesting that you have an add-in manager that you can add even if they are created by you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Padre?

The program may become slow as you use multi tabs to open files and as a result it may close. I have also had problems to make a database connection with mysql, because there are incompatibility problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Padre:

In my opinion this is a good IDE for web development, I think it will be of great help and it will also cost you nothing since it is a completely free software. What problems is Padre solving and how is that benefiting you?

The most important benefit for our organization is that it is an open source software that allows us to incorporate our own plugins into the IDE, to develop HTML-based web applications. What do you like best about Padre?

In my personal opinion, every beginner programmer should start using Padre, in order to get used to personalizing his work environment. This editor will allow you to install add-ons, themes and absolutely customize everything. What problems is Padre solving and how is that benefiting you?

I use Padre since my beginnings in programming and now in my organization to attend projects that need the use of several programming languages at the same time, without the need to install editors that present us with high implementation costs, Father is free and I have customized it to my taste, so I am comfortable with my area of development.
