For example, the user interface is simple and customizable. I like that he has a debugger inside the ide. It is also interesting that you have an add-in manager that you can add even if they are created by you. **What do you dislike about Padre?** The program may become slow as you use multi tabs to open files and as a result it may close. I have also had problems to make a database connection with mysql, because there are incompatibility problems. **Recommendations to others considering Padre:** In my opinion this is a good IDE for web development, I think it will be of great help and it will also cost you nothing since it is a completely free software. If we have been programming for a while, we will love this editor for its variety of options to customize. **What problems is Padre solving and how is that benefiting you?** The most important benefit for our organization is that it is an open source software that allows us to incorporate our own plugins into the IDE, to develop HTML-based web applications. The editor is fresh and ready to be customized, you can edit almost anything according to your preference. In addition, it is a key tool for beginners. **What do you dislike about Padre?** I believe that your syntax check for Perl 5 is already out of date. In addition, its use in Linux is almost null because some important commands are not available. **Recommendations to others considering Padre:** In my personal opinion, every beginner programmer should start using Padre, in order to get used to personalizing his work environment. This editor will allow you to install add-ons, themes and absolutely customize everything.
