Very customizable to suit my program needs, including survey features. Data can be exported easily. When I ask others to use the platform, I get very few technical support questions, demonstrating how easy it is to follow. A very enjoyable user experience - I'm happy I found this! **What do you dislike about Output?** Some minor quibbles - sometimes the data doesn't export as expected, but it is easily correctable. There can be some duplication with user names/entries, but the search function works well, so I have found some easy workarounds. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** I manage a Competition with these key elements: - Companies upload documents/videos - Judges confidentially review and score these documents based on a rubric I used to do this process manually, and it was quite time-consuming. Output has automated most of this process and saved a lot of time! ### 2. It helps us keep all our innovation efforts in one place that is visible across the firm. In addition, working with Dan and his team has been great. They are knowledgable about how to engage our staff in firm-wide challenges. They have also been highly receptive to feedback we provide and we have seen the platform grow based on our feedback. It is nice to work with a company that listens and reacts to our needs. **What do you dislike about Output?** In the early days, there were some glitches when setting up challenges, but since the latest overhaul of the platform, we have not had any major issues. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** Output helps us engage our staff to deliver on our promise of innovating at all levels. In that time, SHA has run over 30 challenges to various stages of completion. Through every stage, Dan has been available to support and coach us from development to implementation of our various challenges. The platform is excellent, creating a digital 1-stop home base with multi-faceted functionality for crowdsourcing ideas and managing projects. Output provides the opportunity to seamlessly engage all stakeholders to generate ideas, evaluate contributions, and manage projects in our geographically distributed organization. **What do you dislike about Output?** Our biggest challenges were most often around our own organizational readiness. The platform sometimes felt too big for what we were able to achieve. That said, each update has resulted in more flexibility and support for different types of challenges. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our organization has employees across the province, so the platform was a good way of collaborating with people regardless of their location and creating virtual gathering places for teams. ### 4. A minimilist user interface allows for easy navigation and fosters an approach to collecting ideas with very few barriers. Current campaigns or challenges are easy to setup and run. The ease of use encourages a user to not only contribute but to view, vote on, comment, follow and share ideas. Additionally, the platform also allows an innovation team to easily conduct an evaluation process that only helps to speed up the opportunity to provide value through eventual adoption. Definitely a fit for purpose platform. **What do you dislike about Output?** It would be great to be able to collect ideas from everywhere whether it be partners or customers. However, it is understood why an organization would want to keep their innovation pipeline and the information within it internal to the business. Leveraging the capability of conducting public facing surveys would be a way to achieve this requirment. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is allowing our organization to conduct our process for innovation by providing an easy to use and navigate interface both for the team collecting and evaluating ideas as well as those that have ideas to submit. Being able to run an innovation campaign that is easily promoted within the organization and then seeing an increased volume of ideas come in to our innovation funnel are huge benefits and the lifeblood of any innovation program. Also being able to easily share and review ideas increases the the speed in which we will be able to see some of the best ideas come into fruition. The best part is that we never lose site of any other ideas when it may just not be the right time. The ideas are all captured and easy to reference at any point int the future. ### 5. They combine with the overall service we get from Output to really add value for our innovation efforts. **What do you dislike about Output?** We've witnessed constant improvements of the platform since we have started using it. Which is one of the things we look for in a potential SAAS product. Right now, I wish we could tag users in the commentary - like you can in many social apps. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** The big one is centralizing our early innovation efforts into a single location. Over time this continues to benefit us as we leverage the searchability and previous data collected with the work. ### 6. It's also easy to experiment and try different things to engage our people. **What do you dislike about Output?** We don't really dislike anything. It would be nice to somehow engage external people in a challenge but we can do that with surveys. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** The platform provides a single source for the projects we're running. We can go back and see how things were done and improve them the next time. There are a ton of organizational tools like kanban boards that we love because they help us keep track of where things are at. ### 7. Everything about the product is nice and simple. There is very little that you need to "train". Any person with general software knowledge will get it. **What do you dislike about Output?** The tool is designed to be simple and therefore lacks configuration. It would be nice if there was simple ways to configure screens more, but this is a difficult balance to strike. **What problems is Output solving and how is that benefiting you?** Provides a fast and simple process to collect ideas from all parts of the organization in a streamlined fashion. ### 10.
