"Helping Us Through Facebook Targeting"

What do you like best?

When Facebook announced they were dropping their advanced targeting and third party vendors, we were in a bit of a panic, but with our strong partnership with Oracle and their strong partnership with Facebook, we were able to maintain strong, detailed targeting with Facebook ads. Their customer service team and partner reps are extremely responsive and helpful, helping solve any issues or glitches come up quickly.

What do you dislike?

The switch from their data living in Facebook natively to living outside the platform and being imported in has been complicated and complex. I'm not sure how much of the issues are springing from Facebook and how many are from Oracle's side. Getting everything switched over has been a long and complicated process, but the team at Oracle is very responsive.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The support team at Oracle is phenomenal and their trainings are top notch. The data they have available is second to none and has really helped improve a lot of our Facebook ad campaigns. The data gave us better results when paired with Facebook's advanced targeting, before Facebook removed their data, but Oracle's solution is better than the alternative - not having good targeting for ads.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We continue to have some of the best targeting in the world for our Facebook campaigns because of Oracle Data Cloud. Our preferred partnership with them allows us to continue running high-quality campaigns for our clients that continue to target the most qualified audiences.

"A powerful tool to target the right audience"

What do you like best?

The efficiency and how quick and easy it is to obtain customer data

What do you dislike?

The fact that we do not get a better price if we order several customer data samples

Datalogix is absolutely great if you intend to expose your marketing strategy and make sure that you are targeting the right audience. Also, quite happy to know that Oracle decided to purchase the company and develop that tool even more thanks to great financial means.

"Most Expansive Purchase Based Targeting Provider"

What do you like best?

Not only does Datalogix have the most expansive set of predetermined purchase based targeting segments in the market, they are willing to create custom segments to fit your clients' needs. Their support staff is attentive and they are willing to negotiate to provide you the best deal. They've also released the Buy Through Rate product that allows users to see which of their publisher partners that is plugged in the tool is the most efficient at reaching actual purchasers of a product. Also, their offline sales lift study is a great way to determine future partnerships with those pubs that boost offline sales the most.

What do you dislike?

They do not have scale with rich media units and sometimes that is needed for CPG campaigns.

Use for purchase based targeting campaigns with offline sales objectives.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Purchase based targeting is the only way to reach users who have already shown interest in your product in the offline world.

"ODC"

What do you like best?

The Oracle Data cloud has a large amount of data segments as well as audiences from other data provider partners.

What do you dislike?

The integration setup and monthly minimums are not cheap.

We utilize ODC to help layer onto our own datasets when running campaigns.

"Premium Access to B2B Audience Data for Digital Display"

What do you like best?

It's easy to access 3rd party data to create custom audience.

The UI seems a bit primitive and not modern.

"My experience is always hit or miss "

What do you like best?

I love the ease of use. They make it so that pretty much anyone can use this software.

What do you dislike?

I dislike how buggy things tend to be. I feel like there's always an issue that needs to be fixed, but that could also be their ancient computers.

"Datalogix is an extremely important research vendor for many clients"

What do you like best?

What I like the best about Datalogix (DLX) is how they enable advertisers to build and target audiences composed of both online and offline sales data. This is a unique and extremely valuable offering that many clients demand, especially high spending direct response clients with large offline costumer base.

What do you dislike?

Implementation of the DLX pixel in ad ops requires a more intricate and often needlessly difficult campaign set up. There is often a unique DLX pixel per placement and rarely is there a universal macro pixel solution to streamline implementation which would thereby reduce the chance of errors and improve the quality of insights.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Work with DLX to find a better implementation solution that involves a universal pixel to streamline the process.

Agencies are trying to figure out how best to target and effectively reach the right audiences for their clients. DLX helps realize this through it's unique combination of offline and online sales data.

Helpful multi-model and dimensional database system for online vendors and data transactions. User interface is pretty good and easy to use for newbies

Can be very slow depending on the compression rate and might need to be redone when used with certain models.

They have very good industry penetration.

Total lack of transparency in their retailer makeup for creating audiences as well as who is included in reporting out.

Revenue sharing has been a benefit since they are using our audiences. The value could be greater if they were open about reporting.
