## About Optiam EAM
OptiAM is an asset management and maintenance platform built by Andromeda Systems Incorporated, an engineering and reliability firm founded in 2005. ASI spent two decades solving uptime problems for operators who cannot afford surprise failures. OptiAM is that work packaged as software any maintenance team can run. It is cloud-hosted with an on-premises option and runs in manufacturing, mining and aggregates, energy and utilities, food and beverage, facilities, fleets, landscaping and public works. OptiAM covers the full maintenance cycle in one system. Management Center gives you a live view of equipment health, work in progress and performance. Asset tracking handles serial numbers, location, warranty, vendor records and full equipment hierarchies, with QR code and RFID support. Work Order Manager runs requests from intake to sign-off with configurable workflows and multi-level approvals. Task Developer builds repeatable step-by-step procedures and checklists. Live Library keeps manuals and SOPs searchable, annotatable and available offline. Inventory Manager tracks serialized and bulk stock with reorder alerts and purchase orders. Maintenance Optimizer schedules preventive maintenance against actual asset usage and operating conditions instead of fixed calendar intervals. OptiAM GO, the mobile app, lets technicians run work orders in the field and keeps working with no signal. Most CMMS and EAM tools tell you what already broke. OptiAM is built on reliability-centered maintenance, so it tells you what is about to break and what to do about it. Teams use it to cut unplanned downtime, get off spreadsheets and paper work orders, prove compliance with inspection records that are actually complete, and stop carrying inventory they do not need. Implementation runs in weeks, not months, and APIs are available for connecting to ERP, procurement and other systems.
