"A complete Test Management tool"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Application Quality Management?

The end to end traceability of a release from requirements through test cases down to defects leading to full accountability of QA projects and activities. The history feature for each and every change made to any of the components inside any of the modules helps for a complete audit trail of the QA processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

I personally liked the Defects module in the older QC 10.xx versions before the upgradation to ALM 11.xx version. The Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Been using HP QLM actively since 6 years"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Application Quality Management?

Well HO QLM basically used for continues integration, reporting, defect management and manging a wide variety of projects.

Things that I really appreciate and like about the software are it's a great tool for managing the project and makes it very comfortable for managing everything centrally.

Secondly, it's a great for reporting, documenting, managing test cases and defect tracking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

Could be more user friendly and would be wonderful if it could integrate with third party tools.

Server navigations seems limited often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great way to track defects for multiple projects!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Application Quality Management?

As an Quality Center (ALM) Admin, this tool is very easy to use and provide access to new users joining a company. The best feature of Quality Center is the ease of assigning users specific roles with read/write permissions and assigning them to only the projects they require access to. This allows them to insert bugs and for the entire team to track those defects- allowing developers to fix them at their convenience and simply changing the status of the bug to indicate it has been fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

Migrating from Quality Center to ALM was a huge pain for my team and I. At first, we discovered a tool called ALM Robot that would do the job on it's own, until we realized the entire repository was not transferred over. This became frustrating as we had to migrate over 50 projects to ALM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

It's ability to represent information is weak. Testing takes time if you want to make it perfect. Loading takes quite a while before the invalid password message is displayed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best Project Life cycle Management software"
5/5
What do you like best about OpenText Application Quality Management?

You can keep your business requirements, test cases & defects in QC separated by projects. You can upload data to QC straight from excel. You can pull out report of all the test cases executed along with their latest status with nice graphs and charts. You can do manual as well as automatic testing. Multiple test runs can be performed for the same test case by multiple user at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?

Initial learning curve is a bit steep. Defects are not linked to test cases and becomes difficult to track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
