The best feature of Quality Center is the ease of assigning users specific roles with read/write permissions and assigning them to only the projects they require access to. This allows them to insert bugs and for the entire team to track those defects- allowing developers to fix them at their convenience and simply changing the status of the bug to indicate it has been fixed. **What do you dislike about OpenText Application Quality Management?** Migrating from Quality Center to ALM was a huge pain for my team and I. At first, we discovered a tool called ALM Robot that would do the job on it's own, until we realized the entire repository was not transferred over. The plugin for excel sheet comes very handy and a test script written in excel sheet can be easily pushed to QC test plan. Often, the price of the computer will tell you how much the quality center will approve or disapprove of the laptop/computer's functionality **Recommendations to others considering OpenText Application Quality Management:** The quality center's usefulness is derived from how much HP itself values your system. As seen by me, it only compliments what the company has deemed expensive enough to satisfy its own monetary needs, and as such will slowly try to push any consumers or users to spend more money on more expensive parts or another computer period. The usefulness of the actual program itself is limited. I cannot think of a time where something I was informed of by this program was not something I could tell just by being on my computer. I use the quality center with my printing software, as it is the software that is automatically used with printing. However, it is frustrating to deal with as a printing software, which is not a software you should ever really struggle with. ALM saved us alot of time and ressources since it's a complete set of tools to manage applications lifecycle. ### 50.
