OpenShot is my alternative to Shotcut whenever I need a fast and simple way to edit videos. The interface is clean and intuitive, so I can jump right into trimming, cutting, and arranging clips without a steep learning curve. It offers drag-and-drop editing and decent support for transitions and titles, which helps speed things up for basic projects. Being open-source and available across platforms is a bonus. Sometimes the app feels less polished, especially with large or complex projects. I’ve noticed performance drops occasionally, and a few features like advanced effects or export settings could be improved. But for quick edits, it covers all the essentials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Its limitless track functionality helps me organize visual and audio elements in my projects; I really like that I can manage multiple edits within the same environment without having to open separate files. It offers an intuitive timeline that facilitates to make adjustments to each video and conveniently color–codes video and audio tracks for improved organization. Only downside is the lack of a visible autosave feature. If I don't save every 10-15 minutes and it decides to crash, my previous work is mostly lost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This app is very easy to use and free too! I downloaded it and watched a tutorial, a few minutes later I was ready to edit my first video. I do not have a degree in video editing but the products from my Openshot edits were of high quality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like about OpenShot Video Editor are:

- There is noo any watermark on exported video.

- It is 100% free to use and has a very easy dashboard for navigation of all things.

What I didn't like about OpenShot Video Editor are:

- When I tried to edit a longer video of 2 hours It crashed suddenly and I lost my editing so I hope in the next update it will solve.

1. Easy to use interface and I can find navigations easily without wasting time.

2. It is the perfect software for small quick video edits.

3. It supports almost 60+ languages.

4. It runs on all operating systems.

The below things that I don't like most in OpenShot Video Editor:

1. Performance is a little bit unstable and sometimes it's crashing but overall it works very well on Windows operating system.

OpenShot Video Editor is a fantastic video editing software as it is open source (free). All the tolls are visible at one place on the home screen, which is very convenient for me to use OpenShot and edit videos. Trim, adding two videos, and many more things can be done by OpenShot. The most things I like in OpenShot Video Editor are as below:

- There user interface is very easy to understand and use.

It is limiting in what it can in terms of bells and whistles. Openshot isn't a good option for color correcting, and the exports tend to fail occasionally. Still better than iMovie Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
