What impressed me most was how quickly we got from an idea to a working MVP. My own involvement was roughly one working day, much of it spent testing and waiting for processes to complete. The result already covers much of what we would otherwise need from commercial software.

OpenKBS also lets us build around how an organization actually works, instead of constantly adapting internal processes to the limitations of an off-the-shelf product.
