## Open Loyalty Reviews
  ### 1. Professional-Grade Loyalty Management Without the Dev Overhead

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** (SUP_Engineering팀) F. | Head of Engineering Team, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

The most impressive aspect of Open Loyalty is how it handles the “Credit” and “Loyalty Event” systems. For many startups, building a robust credit management engine is mission-critical, yet it’s often not the core of the product we’re trying to innovate on. Open Loyalty bridges that gap really well. Rather than diverting internal engineering resources to build a complex loyalty backend from scratch, we were able to rely on its well-architected, API-first platform. It’s reliable and scalable, and it also covers the more sophisticated edge cases involved in credit management.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

The platform is extremely robust and packed with features, which is its biggest strength, but it also creates a bit of a learning curve at the start. For a small team, it can take time to navigate the full range of advanced configurations and explore the API options.

Also, since it’s a premium, enterprise-grade solution, the pricing tiers may feel high for early-stage startups that only need basic functionality. You do get what you pay for in terms of reliability and scalability, but to truly take advantage of the platform’s potential, it helps to have a clear long-term budget commitment.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a way to manage user rewards and engagement without losing focus on our core AI and security features. Open Loyalty enabled us to roll out a professional-grade loyalty program in a fraction of the time it would have taken to build in-house. As a result, our team could stay focused on our unique value proposition while still delivering a seamless, high-quality experience for our users.

  ### 2. Effortless Loyalty Program Integration at a Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás d. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

It's an extremely simple to implement platform to boost any company with a top quality loyalty program at a very reasonable cost. You can integrate it into your own backend in a few days, and be up and running in just a couple of weeks.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

You will have a big dependency on the logic of your loyalty program which will make it difficult to move to other providers. But... why would you?

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to keep track with the loyalty program logic for our Rewards program in their own system, making it very fast to implement and go-live at any given point.

  ### 3. Great platform and fantastic support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alvaro P. | Digital Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

OpenLoyalty has allowed us to create one of the first (if not the first) loyalty program in our industry. The platform's flexibility and the amount of features and functionality have allowed us to shape the perfect loyalty platform for us. Their customer success team is great to work with, extremely friendly and always supporting us with all of our requests. Their API also allows to integrate the platform into our systems seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

There are sometimes niche features that are still being worked on. However the team is always very fast in helping us come up with a solution and are working on adding missing features.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Open Loyalty has allowed us to create a loyalty system and bring gamification to our festival.

  ### 4. Excellent Platform with Responsive Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian G. | Senior Director of Digital Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Open Loyalty does everything we need and is very stable. The exports are very helpful - we use them to populate a PowerBI dashboard that we use daily to monitor program health. The team is helpful and responsive to our requests.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

I would like more control over how data is displayed and more flexibility in adding restrictions to campaigns.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to power a shopping center loyalty program that awards points for bing on property and making purchases with linked credit cards.

  ### 5. Flexible Loyalty Program Builder with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piotr J. | Product Manager

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

I appreciate the time to market, scalability, and support that Open Loyalty provides. It allows us to adapt quickly, add new rewards, adjust rules, and integrate with internal tools without heavy development. I also value the smooth implementation process with comprehensive support. The ability to easily create and adjust campaigns tailored to specific conditions and user segments has been particularly beneficial, as it enhances personalization and engagement. Open Loyalty's features offer a strong, customizable foundation that meets our evolving needs.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Some features we need aren’t available yet, but Open Loyalty is already working on them. Their team has been great at listening to our feedback and providing support along the way.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Open Loyalty to quickly build flexible and scalable loyalty programs, saving time with its solid foundation, easy adjustments, and expert support, enhancing customer engagement and retention.

  ### 6. Low Effort Loyalty Program Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason W.

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

We use Open Loyalty for managing the customer loyalty program in our online banking platform. What I really like is the ability to create reward tiers and designate different rewards on a per-customer basis. Open Loyalty allows us to create customer-specific achievements and rewards based on in-application behaviors, all within a single, easy-to-use platform. The initial setup of Open Loyalty was also very easy.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Not applicable

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Open Loyalty to create customer-specific achievements and rewards, manage all rewards easily in one platform, and tailor reward tiers per customer.

  ### 7. Great software for loyalty

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klavs S. | Head of Digital, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

- Very easy to use
- Easy to set up capaigns
- Multiple wallets for more advanced business
- Great analytics and reporting

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

A few features are missing, but Open Loyalty are working on adding those soon. They have been really helpful on meeting our requests

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to keep track of customers and their loyalty points and purchases both off- and online.

  ### 8. Full featured loyalty platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew B. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

I loved the flexibility of the platform. Open Loyalty supports a wide array of features that I was able to pick from to quickly and easily build out our loyalty program. We initially thought that our use case was pretty narrow and considered developing some of the loyalty program in house. However, edge cases soon started to appear and I could see that using Open Loyalty easily save us 18+ months of development time. It was easy to implement with the support of the team who was very very responsive to questions, receptive to feedback and quick to implement new features. The webhook made it easy to integrate loyalty events with our api.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Nothing. I love working with the product and the team.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to create and deploy a full featured loyalty hub just a few weeks development time. Our existing customers responded really positively to the program and we saw a lot of engagement and were able to measure increased retention with a core group of our customers

  ### 9. OpenLoyalty has been a great solution for building a custom loyalty platform for our customers

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** michael g. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Options available for API integration; customer support; account managment

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Documentation, while thorough, is thin in some areas given the complexity of functionality the platform provides

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rather than having to build out a full-blown loyalty platform ourselves, OpenLoyalty provided a robust platform we could integrate with quickly.

  ### 10. Extremely flexible loyalty software for professionals

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Open Loyalty is extremely flexible. So far, we have not had to discard any of our ideas, as there are ways and means for quite a few scenarios. And if something is unclear or not yet perfectly implemented, the support team helps you quickly and really well.

What is especially good is that we are not pressed into rigid ways. The API is very well documented and gives us all the freedom we need to develop our app.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

The only thing that really needs to be qualified is that the software is not for beginners. Open Loyalty doesn't take you by the hand - you need to have a very clear idea of what you want to do and someone who can develop it accordingly. From my point of view, the software is only the framework or a kind of playground with which you can realize all this - not a ready-made software that can be used by everyone. And that is exactly right.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed software that would replace our previous loyalty system and do everything the old software did. At the same time, it was important that there was also plenty of "room for maneuver" and that we achieve more flexibility in the development of new functions.

  ### 11. Open is an experienced service provider with optimal support.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katharina H. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

The contact persons are very accessible and help with any problem! The platform offers everything a good loyalty program needs.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

That they are so far away and you can not have personal meetings :)

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our old-fashioned cardboard card had to be replaced with a new program. In combination with a new app, Open Loyalty offers the all-round package for our new customer loyalty program

  ### 12. Very flexible loyalty program application with motivated and openminded employees

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2023

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Flexible product
Close collaboration with Open loyalty employees with regular calls and over slack

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Sometimes documentation is a little bit poor (or I don't find what I expect ;-), but then I can ask the question in our slack-channel

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our product has/had also some kind of loyalty program where users where able to earn points, but it had a lot of limitations.

Open Loyalty is very flexible and offers features (e.g. points expiration, several wallets, etc.) out of the box, which we didn't have yet.

  ### 13. Set up an Headless Loyalty Program 3 months

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2022

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Flexibility
Campaign Management
Customization of the Support Service Level (from light to 24/7)
The Easily front end integration.

Compared to competitors, the pricing model is more attractive (cloud is cheaper than on prem) ; and it's fully customizable with your front end so the brand experience is guarantee.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

Reporting functionalities are really poor; there's not a quick easy connector with main crm system (salesforce e.g.) or bi solutions (power bi).

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Help me to create a poc regarding loyalty without investing 1 year (time & money) of development.

  ### 14. Open Loyalty rewards is great

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark P. | Business Analyst / Product Owner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

The campaign management feature and the ability of the software to upload and manage bulk vouchers is great. The APIs and supporting documentation is easy to read and consume and makes implementing the software that much easier.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

The reporting for campaigns is limited. Some of the popular APIs do have greater latency than what is preferred under very high load but there are ways to manage this.

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem we needed to solve initially was to find a good, stable, and accessible platform that could be used as a voucher vault. Open Loyalty proved to be the best option and comes with plenty of additional features we are looking to use in upcoming MVPs like customer loyalty points.

  ### 15. Fast Deployment and Flexibility

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristóbal R. | SHAREHOLDER, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2021

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

We had the opportunity to do a project very quickly and provide our client with a solution in a very short time and very much in line with their needs.

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

In the resolution of incidents, not being able to directly access the database. This complicated the resolution of any incident. Everything had to be done by API's

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main benefits were that my client was able to count on a very complete and flexible solution in a very short time.

  ### 16. CEO

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Forest T. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Open Loyalty?**

Full features for customer loyalty and very flexile/configurable for all businesses
Easily integrate with other systems via full APIs and easy to understand for developers
Suitable for large scale and with huge transactions/customers using daily with the high performance

**What do you dislike about Open Loyalty?**

I don't have any now, but I would suggest improving some UI/UX if possible

**What problems is Open Loyalty solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The insurance reward program, and customer loyalty for banking
