The best parts about OAPT are its integration across the entire workforce and the ability to both receive and provide feedback, whether impromptu or on a scheduled basis for performance reviews. I also appreciate the project progress tracking and the structured review formats, which help ensure my reviews are fair and that everyone at my company goes through the same process. The user interface is nicely laid out and minimal, making it easy to navigate. Sparing use of colour is also appreciated as items like the objective statuses have more contrast and are easier to spot at a glance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In my opinion the worst part is that it is not as integrated to my workflows as it could be. I will give an example of me having a project that has several measures of success over a 6 month period. Those measures should show in my outlook, teams calendars and i should be able to log any relevant meeting notes directly through OAPT, instead I would have the meeting and then have to remember to add any notes to the comments section which can easily get lost or be seen as an extra step that most people will not take just for the sake of it. Another aspect is the objectives themselves. This system could include something along the lines of a Gantt chart where you can see your critical path and visualise the timeline, account for weekends off and annual leave etc. Why have half of a project planner where other tools are needed so many people will use the 'full stack' solution. There is currently a lack of AI integration in the system, not the biggest issue for me personally but no doubt it could speed up workflows such as telling it to adjust a projects end date and shift every measure of success by that number of days as well, leaving a note as to why everything has changed for a manager to review. However that is not for me to decide where best to use that as it can present security issues if the confidential information is not taken into account Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
