First of all, our onboarding is almost completely automatic now, there are no skipped tasks, new employees have a structured and very clear onboarding which allows them to gradually adjust to their new job, new team, new colleagues, they have constant access to important materials with guidelines, they have tasks and email reminders which decreases their stress level, our managers are happier because they don't have to set reminders - the software thinks on their behalf and they just have to follow the guide - HR Cloud. A more structured and organized process leads to happier managers and it is all a huge factor in employee satisfaction and the beginning of employee retention. We use this app for new employees, for those changing positions, work locations or those coming back from long leave, such as maternity leave. Last but not least, I have to highlight the importance of our Account Manager in the creation of our processes, our overall experience and our growing satisfaction with HR Cloud. He truly went above and beyond to create any custom needs we had. He was providing ideas, and suggestions, creating all the steps in our process exactly as we wanted or even better, he was (and is) always availabe, he answered emails extremely fast and took care/takes care of any potential problem we have. With his professionalism and effort, Josip assured us we did the right thing by choosing HR Cloud among other software. Kudos to our account manager. :) **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** Not sure if this is a downside, but too much space for your creation sometimes causes chaos. You have to know exactly what do you want in your onboarding. Furthermore, I would love to have the option to send emails with other people in cc. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Organization of the process. Tasks management, employee satisfaction, accessibility of important information at all times with signatures, we got rid of many manual and boring tasks which allow us to focus on more important things, people like coming to work for us, everything is done on time, and if not, we can track which areas we need to improve... ### 7. New hires don't always have access to a valid email address, and HR Cloud was able to build a process around that hurdle to allow our field employees to onboard new hires on the spot, anywhere in the world. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** HR Cloud is still somewhat new to the market, so the system speed is still catching up to other competitors. Their development team is always working to improve/ enhance things and is very accepting of suggestions along the way. **Recommendations to others considering Onboard by HR Cloud:** Highly recommend it for organizations that have complex onboarding needs as well as those that have basic needs with an accessible workforce. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our field employee group has complex onboarding requirements and a lot of the new hires do not have their own smartphones/ computers. HR Cloud was able to resolve this by building the application with a "kiosk" type of workflow to allow our Foremen to complete new employee onboarding from start to finish on a company-issued tablet in the field. In addition to this workflow solution, we also implemented additional measures to assure I-9 compliance among a completely remote workforce. ### 8. We have seventy tasks, including document collection, and we were able to break this up into four chains, some of which pre-populate and others we trigger manually. It's easy to review the documents and rename them. It's easy and customizable and I am so happy. I wish my experience with our practice management software implementation was half as easy. It's not. HRCloud is. I enter a date once and the system knows which tasks to assign on the correct dates! I have manually entered all information into multiple employee information spreadsheets for several years. We also were still performing onboarding tasks manually/on paper until we decided to try HR Cloud. I would not go back for anything! I also have to rave about our Account Manager(s). They have all been fantastic. Antonela Mosic is our current one. She is quick to respond and always has an answer for me. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** I do not like that Time-Off requests cannot be adjusted. If any employee needs to make an adjustment the his/her time off, he/she must delete the request and start another. Another great feature is the Workmates section. It creates a positive area where HR can post important announcements and where team members can share moments of gratitude and build up each other. And their support team (specificity Duje and Ana) is fantastic! **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** The perform section doesn't let you delete or edit assigned reviews which can be frustrating for managers, and attaching images or PDFs to an announcement isn't great. Another recommendation and this may be specific to our organization is improving the permissions of supervisors, so they're able to edit their entire hierarchy's tasks. And there are occasional bugs, but it's to be expected and they're always fixed quickly. To my knowledge, the remaining issues are actively being worked on. Overall I'm super pleased with their supper team and know that I can reach out at any time! **Recommendations to others considering Onboard by HR Cloud:** I think this is a great option for a growing organization and it's worth talking with them to see if they can meet your needs and they most likely can! It's truly great service. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** New hire paperwork tracking and status has been an enormous benefit. Another benefit is that new hires can complete their tasks on their own through the app or website. It is user friendly and offers a wide range of flexible options when it comes to implementing company specific on-boarding tasks and documents. What I like the most about Onboard by HR Cloud is how easy it is to implement with it's adaptability and innovation. Despite having a very detailed and industry specific step by step process, every single one of our requests were able to be met and allowed us to start using Onboard by HR Cloud within a few weeks of implementation. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** There isn't anything about Onboard by HR Cloud that we dislike. It meets all of our on-boarding needs and if we do ever run into any issues with documents or tasks, the team at HR cloud is very quick to respond and fix the problem. **Recommendations to others considering Onboard by HR Cloud:** If you are looking to use Onboard by HR Cloud, I would recommend you to voice what it is that you are looking for and need out of the software. Onboard by HR Cloud is very good at meeting requests and working with you to make sure the on-boarding process is as smooth as possible. A crucial piece of advice I would give is to make sure you do test runs through the whole on-boarding process using a test account. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest benefits we have realized by implementing Onboard by HR Cloud is a more streamlined on-boarding process that has allowed candidates to onboard much faster and easier, which has in turn led to an increase in potential candidates completing our extensive onboard process. ### 32. HR Cloud really lets you brand yourself to the employee in the early stages of hiring. I also really love their electronic documents and how clean the formatting is. Grga, our implementation manager, was beyond supportive and very attentive to our needs with deep knowledge of the system. We could not have asked for better support during implementation and ongoing support after the product went live. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** We have it built in with ADP so it has its set backs. However, those set backs are from an ADP side rather than a HR Cloud side. There is nothing I dislike as we understood what the product what before delivering it. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to solve the long process of emailing documentation and having everything go through one email address rather than a transparent system. Our employees have returned their onboarding documents roughly 70% faster by having everything electronic. Furthermore, it keeps everything secure so that private data in not being pushed through email. ### 33. Everything is in one place and I am able to monitor the progress of each step. I also like how it easily connects with additional platforms such as ADP to quickly store all of our information with us having to key in each individual new hire. The product is highly customizable and we are able to cater the platform to our specific organizational needs. Our Onboarding process improved a lot since we started using it. Our Account Manager Grga Kordić is a prime example of how customer support/success should work. He takes the extra mile when it comes to any single question and he's always patient with everything we ask about. Being able to store that information after is very helpful. The automation is helpful, though not perfect. Most importantly, we are now able to get employee information into our systems in advance which provides more time for training on the 1st day rather than just doing paperwork. Additionally, the employee is adding the information (e.g. SSN, Direct deposit, taxes, etc.) so, there is less room for error where before, the employee was completing a paper form, turning it into HR and we then had to manually key it into ADP - lots of room for error. The last thing I want to mention is the implementation team. They are fantastic! They not only know they system but they are incredible problem solvers who are able to take a clients needs and (most of the time) find a way to make it work. What's even better is that once the implementation is over, that team stays with you and converts over to your support team. I love that continuity. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** The integration with ADP is a little clunky, mostly because of limitations that ADP sets. For example, we have some employees who left and then returned to the Company within 1 year. We would like to recognize their previous service but, ADP only allows HR Cloud to "see" the rehire date. It would be more helpful to see the original hire date and the rehire date or, if nothing else, the credited service date. Everything in HR Cloud is very linear which makes it easy to set up but, if there is a contingency for a specific group, a different workflow has to be set up and manually launched. For example, in Canada, we have to provide all documents in both French and English however, the system only allows for one document to be attached to a specific task. So, we have to manually send one. **Recommendations to others considering Onboard by HR Cloud:** Make sure that you have your processes in place before beginning implementation. The implementation team is incredible at problem solving but, you have to give them guidelines. At the same time, be flexible. The "old" way may not work as well once you move to an online, automated platform. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, all employee forms were turned in on the 1st day which meant we couldn't add anyone to ADP before that. If there was an issue with the forms or documents (i.e. for the I-9) everything was pushed back further. This meant that everything downstream took longer (i.e. enrolling in benefits). This allows us to have more information, which the employee inputs eliminating the need for us to retype what they enter, at an earlier point in the post-offer/onboarding phase. ### 36. We were looking for a system that would have a lot of flexibility with being able to have many different types of forms, different levels of approvals/contributions, and also ability for pictures and videos. This system meets all of those needs a more. My company has multiple locations and we have been able to configure an onboarding portal unique to each campus to tailor the new hire experience. We have also been able to integrate with our ATS so that new hires flow straight into HR Cloud, saving a lot of data entry time. I have also had feedback from new hires on how easy it was to set up their profiles and fill out forms. Plus, HR Cloud keeps up with government forms updates for you so you don't have to worry about missing an update! They have the functionality to tie I-9s directly into your E-verify site to automatically submit those cases (my organization hasn't been able to configure this due to multiple sites, but it is an amazing feature). **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** The only area for improvement for us is tightening up the information flow from our ATS into HR Cloud. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had several small kinks to work out with workflows, making sure the tasks were flowing to the correct people. It has been very easy to fix and the HR Cloud team has been available to either make the fix for us or walk us through how to make it happen. The account manager that was assigned to us has been nothing but helpful in every aspect of the process. From the beginning when we were transitioning, the flow of communication was constant and thorough. Any follow up that we've needed and assistance throughout the maintenance of our account has been answered quickly with the most professional and happy customer service. **What do you dislike about Onboard by HR Cloud?** There are a few small things that I wish they would update. For instance - I wish there was more options for back and forth with documents between admin users and employees. But these are small nice-to-have items. Overall, I enjoy the user interface and appreciate the recent changes they made in the past months. **Recommendations to others considering Onboard by HR Cloud:** Before going with HR Cloud we looked at a few onboarding programs. One of the biggest selling points for us when looking at the vendors was the HR Cloud didn't pressure us to upgrade our program to needs we didn't have. For instance, we were only looking or an onboarding tool, not an HRIS or payroll. HR Cloud gave us exactly what we wanted, listened to our needs, and didn't try to pressure us into anything else. That was a big reason we ended up choosing them. I also want to commend their customer service staff for their quick responses, and helpfulness. Anytime I have a question or need assistance, I'm responded to within 24 hours, and my questions/needs are always answered and met. Overall very happy with the experience and would recommend it to another user. **What problems is Onboard by HR Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously we were mailing out onboarding packets, and it was having a negative effect on the employee experience.
