This reduces the time we spend searching through files and chasing people, and gives us more time for analysis and decision-making. Each FP&A manager can ask questions in natural language in Teams, drill down from a high-level variance to the relevant department or studio, and quickly understand what changed and why, based on the FP&A explanation. In the long run, we expect it to improve our forecasting process and make variance analysis faster. **What do you dislike about Octopus AI?** The main challenge I see is more about the thoughtful implementation needed to get the most value from it. Octopus works best when managers actively consider how to embed it into their routines and how to engage their teams in working with it. It may still require follow-up questions and human validation when context is missing, along with some effort around permissions, integrations, and building the habit of providing explanations consistently. With careful implementation, these are manageable challenges, but they are important for turning Octopus into a trusted part of the FP&A process. **What problems is Octopus AI solving and how is that benefiting you?** Octopus is helping solve the difficulty of connecting financial variances with the business context behind them. It also helps make forecasting and variance analysis more proactive by surfacing unusual movements and preserving explanations that might otherwise get lost in conversations.
