What do you like best about Nova?

I am a product manager and I use Nova to manage our work, lead workshops, get feedback from team members, ask team members for their input to reduce risks, lead user interviews, etc. We created Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nova?

What problems is Nova solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are a collaborative team, and we often need feedback and gather information from different team members and clients so with Nova we can manage this as part of our daily tasks and ask people to join a brainstorming session, join a meeting using a whiteboard, provide feedback about a new design or create a document. Something that we are finding very useful is the fact that you can add due dates and track progress inside a whietboard or a document. Like documents, whiteboards, surveys, feedback sessions could be constrained by a timeline and be part of a workflow. This is helping is manage this way better than before. What do you like best about Nova?

User friendly, smooth interface and collaboration with other colleagues. Enabling this interactive interaction with peers is key to come up with adding value ideas. Project management is also possible by laying out the phases and assigning responsibles, personas, roles, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nova?

Integration with other tools for further visibility. Manual intervention / exports in order to integrate and interface with other tools we usually use. I would like for it to has the capability to integrate. "Great interface with so many possibilities"

What do you like best about Nova?

I love how intuitive the platform is to use and how easily you can navigate from project to project, keeping track of what you need to do and what is left to get done.

It really has helped me and my team develop new ideas and really dive deep into the ideation process, unlocking ideas and concepts that we hadn't considered before.

Using a sticky board to put ideas down and have them for future meetings and sessions is so much more valuable than I thought it would be. Instead of putting sticky notes on a wall and taking pictures that we never actually looked at later, we have the same sticky board available for reference and editing as the project moves forward and adapts to new ideas and input. We still use our Nova tools board for out brand guidelines and is the reference we point to our team to make decisions.

Being able to track, assign, and add outside input through participants has been useful because it gives everyone the ability to look at what is being worked on and potentially where people might have some other ideas or opinions - it has saved us so much time in trying to schedule meetings with multiple departments to get there thoughts on new products and ideas. What do you dislike about Nova?

The sticky board is very very helpful, and i love using it with my team but it could be easier to zoom in and out of the pages.

I think that if there was a simple chat system that we could have within that platform that we could discuss things on would also be helpful - but using channels like slack or zoom alongside a session work well enough for now.df Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Nova:

I think this is very useful for people running businesses that want to expand how they see problems and collaborate with their team. For a business like mine, that works remotely and more than 200km apart having a collaborative space to work together without having to be in the same physical room has been really helpful in moving ideas forward.

I would imagine for people who do consulting for businesses in marketing or product design - having this many tools available in one place would be extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nova solving and how is that benefiting you?

Defining business strategy, brand guidelines, and identity. We've also used their processes to come up with potential product ideas based on the markets we work in, and evaluating existing ideas to see if there are areas that we could improve or ways of rethinking the problem form a different perspective.

We now have a full brand identify, and guidelines that we would've otherwise had to pay for from a marketing expert or designer. It's nice knowing that we have the ability to take on that kind of work without having to hire in specialists and simply rely on the tools they have to get 90% of the way there.
