Is Notified GlobeNewswire free, or does it offer a free trial?

Who is Notified GlobeNewswire pricing best suited for?

Notified GlobeNewswire's pricing is best suited for PR agencies, mid-market communications teams, and small businesses issuing releases regularly enough to justify bundled packages. G2 reviewers in public relations, financial services, biotechnology, and technology industries report strong ROI, particularly those distributing four or more releases annually. Publicly traded companies benefit from Reg FD compliance features and regulatory filing support. Solo practitioners or startups issuing only occasional releases may find per-release pricing steep, as several G2 reviewers note. Enterprise users appreciate self-service capabilities and broad distribution, though some flag that per-user license fees and rigid credit structures create friction for organizations with unpredictable or low-volume press release needs.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Notified GlobeNewswire?

Notified GlobeNewswire does not offer a free version. According to G2's pricing data for Notified GlobeNewswire, the pricing model is custom-quoted, with no publicly listed tiers. G2 reviewers describe a pay-per-release option alongside bundled packages for higher-volume users. Entry-level access covers core wire distribution, while add-ons such as photos, multimedia, extended word counts, advanced analytics, media monitoring, and targeted industry lists carry additional fees. Several G2 reviewers note being caught off guard by these incremental charges during onboarding. Reporting and listening features are flagged as requiring separate purchases beyond standard distribution, making the effective cost higher than the base release price suggests.

Is Notified GlobeNewswire considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly consider Notified GlobeNewswire a strong value relative to major competitors like PR Newswire and BusinessWire, with multiple reviewers explicitly stating they switched to save costs without sacrificing reach. High ratings paired with recurring cost complaints signal a premium-tier service. G2 users in PR, biotech, financial services, and mid-market segments consistently praise the distribution network, 24/7 human support, and AI visibility features as justifying the price. Recurring concerns include expensive add-ons like photos and multimedia, word-count-based overage charges, and use-it-or-lose-it credit packages. Small businesses and startups on tight budgets flag pricing as a barrier, while agencies and frequent users find bundled packages cost-effective.

"Wide-spread news distribution"

What do you like best about Notified GlobeNewswire?

I researched other wire distribution networks and found that GlobeNewswire has the farthest reach for news. My press releases go to more media outlets versus the other wire services. Plus, GlobeNewsWire offers bundled pricing for my clients who issue lots of press releases. These bundles are very cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notified GlobeNewswire?

I am not sure where the distributions go - such as what states are covered in the Southeast region distribution? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Changing my review completely after 6 months only due to shady sale tactics"

What do you like best about Notified GlobeNewswire?

Product itself (PR publishing flow, I mean) is OK. Coverage is moderate, nothing sensational though. Analytics post-publication is helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Notified GlobeNewswire?

We won't be renewing because their pricing is super shady, and sales tactics is aggressive, based on lies and fine print. Do not do business with these people. They chance their pricing logic mid contract and then will blame you for "misunderstanding". It is not misunderstanding, you intentionally mislead people. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
