**What do you like best about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

Nielsen Ad Intel is good for getting a big-picture view of ad spend and activity. Nielsen offers a number of different levels of access, which also makes implementation easy. It includes not just agency data but also volume and total spend, which is a real advantage over some tools.

**What do you dislike about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

The problem is accuracy. Estimates can be 10x higher or lower than actuals, which makes it hard to fully rely on the numbers. Luckily, the local support team is excellent — they go out of their way to close data gaps and help make sense of the reports.

For a small business with very less advertising budget it is must that you have to connect with the target audience with less spending. You need to find the best platforms to advertise your product. And Nielsen helps best with this.

There is nothing to dislike about Nielsen as such. UI can be little bit more Better.

As a small business with less advertising budget we took help of Nielsen to advertise our products to targeted audience. Our business bloomed within few days.

That you can get info on competitors' shares, get info by product, demo, ratings info, ppm, etc.

It can be very challenging to use if you don't use it regularly.  There are a LOT of options which to me makes it not as user friendly as the older version.

**Recommendations to others considering Nielsen Ad Intel:**

Provide detailed training.  There are a lot of steps to pull reports/ get required info and can be tricky.

**What problems is Nielsen Ad Intel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

That it helps us know where we are in the market and provides info on how best to support our client businesses with detailed info that can be designed individually for them.

Best to use service and my fav for the organization. I always used to wait for some person to take of these things for me and now, thanks to Nielsen, I can do it on my own

Can be a little more user friendly.The UI is pretty native and sometimes one gets lost while checking for options or getting help. Can make use of a better support system too.

**What do you like best about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

Easy setup for workflow in creating a report, from start to finish. The system will ensure all required measures are included before running the report. Wide range of brands to fit almost every client competitive set out there.

**What do you dislike about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

There are significant discrepancies between using AdIntel Classic and AdIntel 2.0. Understanding that the data reported in the 2.0 version is preliminary, both spend and GRPs widely differ when you pull in the same parameters. Also, my team has experienced numerous technical difficulties, such as not being able to load, or export certain reports.
Lastly, there is no "copy" function, which would be a big help if this was added - a lot of times you'll need to do a "save as" of a previous report.

**Recommendations to others considering Nielsen Ad Intel:**

I recommend saving reports privately and to the shared folder within the system so that other team members can access it. Also, create the report template and save as a "specification" because reports expire after a certain amount of days.

**What problems is Nielsen Ad Intel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our clients rely on my team to recommend the best media mix for their brands, and we lean on insights and trends we see in the competitive pool. When we notice that three out of four key competitors are heavily investing in TV, then we would know a nominal spend for our brand would barely be a splash in the water. Similarly, for emerging brands, if we see that they are using a digital-forward media mix with predominantly Social and OLV, we may use that nugget of information to influence our strategies. We use AdIntel regularly for quarterly and annual competitive deliverables.

What I like best is the post-campaign audience reach confirmation that makes sure we are aligned with the media plan we planned. Also, we can get great insight on the best demo or ad recall to plan ahead.

**What do you dislike about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

It does not always includes digital perspective as we target specific audience and the pannel can somehow be not an 100% representative.  It can underrepresent the digital portion.

We can get better understadning of our campaign impact and see what to reconduct, if we need bigger visibility and if the message have been understood by our audiences.

To set up a Nielsen Brand Study, it's straightforward and relatively effortless, and everyone in our industry is aware of Nielsen.

**What do you dislike about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

The only gripe I've always had was how they only provide 1 question to the user, in comparison to the other brand studies that offer 10+ questions which would provide deeper data points.

**What problems is Nielsen Ad Intel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Nielsen's database, we can specifically target qualified audiences to take part in the brand study. At the end of the day, the goal is to provide a brand lift based on an exposed vs control group.

I appreciate customization options with Nielsen's platform to meet the needs of the user. Different sets of variables can be used when processing the data through automated reports that display both numeric results along with graphs to make it easier to understand trends.

**What do you dislike about Nielsen Ad Intel?**

What I dislike about Nielsen Ad IQ is  that the website makes it difficult for people who don't work in marketing, or aren't familiar with how those tools work. I also dislike that those tools cost a lot of money and so only large companies can afford to use them.

The platform allows for high-level data sorting, comprehensive reporting with just one click, and automatic ad tracking. This is all very helpful and saves time.

There were times when Nielsen Ad Intel would have system glitches and would prohibit me from pulling reports etc.
