Since migrating to Nickel from Stripe, the clean, simple, and intuitive UI has been at the top of my list of welcome changes. For my use case, Nickel has been a huge convenience. Setting up invoices for new customers takes about a minute per account. I also love the automatic recurring invoicing, and that I can easily upload the proper documentation when needed. My only real knock here is that I still can’t set a recurring invoice to run indefinitely. I’m required to choose an end date, which means I then have to set my own reminders for when each invoice period ends so I can go back in and extend it. Nickel lets me get paid easily without having to worry about anything. I like that ACH transfers are free and that I can split the cost of a credit card charge with my customer as an extra service. Nickel is really easy to use, and the interface is much better than other companies offering the same service. I like that it’s free, though I’d pay a small monthly fee to use it. It’s easy to create and send invoices or payment links, and I like being able to name invoices whatever I want. Payment links are easier to use when I send them to clients. It's a great and cost-effective solution for payments for my small independent business. I'm not sure because our accountant primarily uses it, but it seems to integrate well. we also use: toast, gusto, 7shifts, margin edge, opsi, and quickbooks online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
