I’ve been using Namecheap hosting and it’s been pretty decent overall. The main reason I chose it was because the price is really cheap compared to a lot of other hosting companies. It’s good if you just need something simple for a small website or a project. The dashboard is also pretty easy to use, especially if you already have your domain with them.
Overall I think it’s a good budget hosting option and works fine for smaller sites, but for bigger or high traffic websites you might want something a little more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A few things I didn’t like were the speed and some of the limits on the cheaper plans. Sometimes the site can feel a bit slow, especially on shared hosting. I also noticed that if your website starts using more resources, you can run into restrictions or be asked to upgrade your plan.
Customer support is available, but it can take a while to get things fully resolved sometimes. Another small downside is that some features or security tools aren’t as advanced as what you get with more expensive hosting providers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
