One of the things I dislike about Namecheap is that they don’t offer phone support, relying entirely on live chat and tickets. Sometimes I run into urgent issues, and I would much rather be able to call and speak with a person.

I also don’t like how they handle their mail servers. A couple of times, I had issues sending email messages from my hosting because the server IP was blacklisted, and I had to deal with getting it unlisted. It took them a week to get our website back online after they abruptly turned it off without warning. They even removed our backups and then claimed they hadn't backed up in a year, despite the fact they are supposed to back up weekly. I’ve been using Namecheap hosting and it’s been pretty decent overall. The main reason I chose it was because the price is really cheap compared to a lot of other hosting companies.
