I would undoubtedly highlight its ease of use, accessible to all types of profiles. **What do you dislike about MySQLDumper?** Perhaps this simplicity is also its weak point, since it does not have many other options. It is what it is and it is good for what it is good for, don't look for more functionality. **What problems is MySQLDumper solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have encountered occasions in which certain backups were not made from the database managers that we usually use, such as DBeaver. However, with this software, they worked the first time. ### 2. In addition, it informs you by email about successful copies and allows you many security options, such as directory protection or advanced user permissions. **What do you dislike about MySQLDumper?** The data is stored locally, and there is no way to copy it to another server or to the cloud, which in certain projects can be crucial. If this is not a problem, this tool is perfect and very versatile. **Recommendations to others considering MySQLDumper:** MySQLDumper can be used in a free version, this allows you to test all its main features and determine if it is suitable for the type of project in progress. For us, it is an essential tool in projects on MySQL databases, so we recommend its use to all companies that work with data. **What problems is MySQLDumper solving and how is that benefiting you?** When we manage a lot of data in Smart Cities and Big data projects, it is crucial to keep backups easily and we need that they can be recovered with one click if necessary. We use it to make database copies of our Smart Cities projects, but it can be used for blogs, forums ... since it can manage large databases and send them automatically by FTP. **What do you dislike about MySQLDumper?** There are more powerful and configurable payment database tools, but this tool can be used for free and amply meets all quality standards and options most demanded by customers without many specific requirements. **Recommendations to others considering MySQLDumper:** If you are making manual backups to date, you should trust this tool to save time and effort and automate your backups. Its use is very simple and it is also a free tool. We recommend its use. **What problems is MySQLDumper solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool allows us to save time when making backup copies of our databases, as it allows them to be automated and sent to a backup FTP. Free and Open Source as well. You can do a lot with this software like create easy backups and clones of your databases just in case something fails. It did it's job well and deserves better. I used it up until last year (MySQL 5.6) It also works with PHP 7 so It can still work. **What do you dislike about MySQLDumper?** The only thing I didn't like was its outdated GUI. Besides that it did what I wanted without issue. Also the fact its no longer in development sucks. **Recommendations to others considering MySQLDumper:** If you want to use it don't since its no longer being developed. Someone should take over the project so it can continue to live **What problems is MySQLDumper solving and how is that benefiting you?** It allows me to dump databases when I need to most. Made monthly backups and helping clients very easy. ### 6.
