What do you like best about MySQLDumper?

What do you like best about MySQLDumper?

We have used this tool for its great simplicity of use, its small size and its great capacity to take backup copies and recover MySQL databases within our Smart Cities projects. In addition, it informs you by email about successful copies and allows you many security options, such as directory protection or advanced user permissions. The data is stored locally, and there is no way to copy it to another server or to the cloud, which in certain projects can be crucial. If this is not a problem, this tool is perfect and very versatile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From its initial installation to its configuration and use, the MySQL Dumper tool is really simple. We use it to make database copies of our Smart Cities projects, but it can be used for blogs, forums ... since it can manage large databases and send them automatically by FTP. "Geat software for backing up. Too bad it's Discontinued"

What do you like best about MySQLDumper?

A powerful web based backup and restore program for MySQL. Free and Open Source as well. You can do a lot with this software like create easy backups and clones of your databases just in case something fails. It did it's job well and deserves better. I used it up until last year (MySQL 5.6) It also works with PHP 7 so It can still work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about MySQLDumper?

The only thing I didn't like was its outdated GUI. Besides that it did what I wanted without issue. Also the fact its no longer in development sucks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
