I have looked at different systems, and MRPeasy is the best choice for small manufacturing because it is affordable and has many features. We like how easy it is to use while still being powerful. The inventory control and tracking features are strong, helping us keep an eye on stock, raw materials, and finished products, making compliance easy. We also rely on the custom order system and the simple Bill of Materials (BOM) set-up, which helps us manage complex products easily. Another notable feature is the customizable routing system, which lets us set up each production stage to fit our workflows, giving us better control and visibility throughout the process. What’s even better is that MRPeasy has many tools that we are just starting to use. For a business our size, having such a wide range of tools without excessive costs is a big plus. MRPeasy plays a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. As a small business, we required a system that could scale alongside us while ensuring compliance. We appreciate the inventory control and traceability features, which simplify the tracking of ingredients and products. The custom order process, Bill of Materials (BOMs), and customizable routing significantly enhance our management of production workflows. However, one challenge we face is navigating the costing system. While it is comprehensive, the complexity of the calculations can make it difficult to quickly identify fixed costs. Although the system is accurate, more straightforward reports on stable costs would greatly assist in our planning efforts. What problems is MRPeasy solving and how is that benefiting you? Addressing Real Challenges with Significant Impact Before using MRPeasy, we had many problems, such as disconnected systems, manual tracking, and no real-time view of our inventory and production. As a small manufacturer, we needed a simple and reliable solution that could grow with us, without the high costs of large ERP software. MRPeasy has solved many key issues for us: Inventory Management: We now have full visibility of our raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. With real-time tracking and automatic stock updates, we have fewer stockouts, make better purchasing decisions, and keep better track of expiration dates and batch numbers, which is important for compliance. Manufacturing Orders (MOs): Creating and managing custom MOs is now easy. MRPeasy helps us plan production, allocate materials, and track orders at every stage. This reduces confusion, improves timelines, and ensures every batch is made correctly. Traceability: We can trace every product back to its ingredients, lot numbers, and production steps, providing transparency and building trust with our clients. Efficiency Improvements: Integrating Bills of Materials and Routing with our MOs cuts down on extra data entry and planning time. This has improved communication between production and inventory management. The Outcome: We are now more organized, compliant, and confident in our operations. Have been using MRPEasy for over 7 years now and it has helped our business greatly. Production is now far better managed along with stock control and purchasing. It takes a a bit getting used to, like all software, but it's worth the effort. The customer support is excellent and the team respond well to ideas for features, where possible adding functionality at our suggestion Integration with Xero was a simple process and went without a hitch. We used to spend all our time in Xero handling invoicing and purchasing, but now these are far better handled in MRPEasy. The CRM feature is basic, but for us does all we need saving us paying for features with another provider that we'd never use. The greatest benefit for us is the multi-level bill of matierials capability and breaking manufacturing into multiple assemblies and sub-assemblies, all tied in with tight stock control, purchase ordering and traceability of parts used in all products. Though it's advertised for 10+ employees, I find it works for 1+ as it helps keep track of eveything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about MRPeasy? There's nothing to really dislike about it. As with ALL MRP products there is a learning curve and it takes time to build up data in the system to achieve its full potential.
