**What do you like best about MotionPoint?**

The Turn Key nature of the solution allows me to get things done without doing anything. The Team we work with at MotionPoint are always on top of things, and are amongst our best vendor teams.  We could not manage to deliver 29 languages without MotionPoint. Owning our own translation memory is also a key differentiator.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

If I could improve anything it would be support for reverse translation.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most important problem our relationship resolves is a lack of resources. We are a small team. We do not have a large pool of multi-lingual content authors ready to jump in and create 29 different versions of a single page at a moment's notice.  Having a great partner, like MotionPoint, drives our speed to market at a pace, we could never achieve ourselves. plus working with in country linguists and solid processes, we are ensured that our translations are high quality.

**What do you like best about MotionPoint?**

I love the ease of maintaining my foreign language sites!  I only make the changes on our English site, and MotionPoint does the rest.  Maintaining multiple languages used to require making changes on each site individually.  MotionPoint's customer service is on point.  The staff is responsive and very helpful in resolving issues.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

Not so much a dislike, but I do wish the updates to the foreign language sites could be nearly instantaneous instead of a next-day delay.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a federally funded transit system, we are required to make information available to those who speak English less than well or not at all.  We do not have anyone on staff who is multi-lingual to assist with translations or interpreting. We provide the majority of the information related to our service on our website.  I only make the changes on our English site, and MotionPoint does the rest.

**What do you like best about MotionPoint?**

I cannot comment on the quality of the actual translations but the implementation of the technology is just amazing. If the user selects an alternative language, then the call to deliver the page is intercepted by the Motionpoint process, which simply serves up the translated version. We use Adobe AEM, which has the ability to have multiple renditions of a page for languages but we would then have to manage all those page copies - this solution just works without us doing anything - other than paying the bill.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

It is not inexpensive - when I took over the digital team I called them in to try to understand the costs. Once I understood the effort that they were taking from the team, I swallowed and accepted the cost as being appropriate.

**Recommendations to others considering MotionPoint:**

We all hear from vendors who pitch that their solutions "just work out of the box" and then 3 years later, you're still trying to get it to work. That's NOT the case here - when we implemented MotionPoint initially, we had one web admin running the entire site. She basically just had to add a language drop-down to the site and make some basic changes to support the integration (the helped with this) and it has worked consistently since then.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have customers in almost every country in the world and publish highly scientific content. We need to have six alternative languages for each page and the effort of both translating AND managing those pages is a lot of work for a smaller digital team. The benefits? It really just works...if there's a translation then they serve it up automatically, they deal with all the changes that we make to the source pages. If there isn't a translation then the English source page is served up - not page not found errors for us!

MotionPoint does a great job translating technical content that an AI could not handle. When Google Translate isn't enough for your business, MotionPoint can help.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

MotionPoint has an awesome team and translation is always on point, but it is very pricey. For many businesses, the price point may not make sense compared to other options which are 90% cheaper using AI translation tools.

MotionPoint is translating our website into several different languages, providing a 1:1 experience across our web domains regardless of your location or language preferences.

**What do you like best about MotionPoint?**

Translations are done in a "it just works" way; you don't really spend any calories on the mechanisms working under the hood. A helpful, available, service minded and solution oriented support solution.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

Nothing, really. But be aware that you need to dedicate time for the one-time setup of the service. No room for cheating here.

**Recommendations to others considering MotionPoint:**

Spend time learning the service. Spend time defining your business' glosary and style guide.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rapid and qualitative translation and publish of highly technical web site content from English to Japanese and Korean, without the need of involving third parties. I publish my English content, and rest assure MotionPoint will do the rest.

**What do you like best about MotionPoint?**

My company has been using MotionPoint for a few years now, and for the most part, their proxy solution has been very reliable, requiring very little intervention from within. We have been able to maintain a Spanish site with only one or two employees involved.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

I think this is partially because of the pandemic, but the level of customer service has declined over the last couple of years. I think there is no longer a fully-staffed contact center, so I can't always get somebody from the support team on the phone when a critial issue arises.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we began using MotionPoint, we had a very manual site translation process. This required a lot more internal resources, and also had a lot of duplicated content translation. With MotionPoint's solution, we no longer need a large internal team, and we don't pay for content to be translated multiple times.

If you need to have your site translated, MotionPoint does a phenomenal job.  What impresses me more about MotionPoint is the support they provide after the translated site goes live.  To me, that is the essential aspect of our relationship.  Ongoing superior support they provide.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

The support they provide today is excellent.  It did take a little bit of effort to understand the support center's internal processes in the beginning.  Once I understood, I was able to connect the dots with our processes.  So we worked together that supported both operations.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a French and Spanish site created for our customers in Canada and Mexico.  The benefits were tremendous from a development standpoint.  Also, leaving it to the experts in the field to provide us with fully translated sites for our customers.

MotionPoint has one of the best customer service teams in the industry. They treat every client as if they were their only client. They go above and beyond to be a great partner and are always looking for ways to improve the customer journey while being efficient and cost effective.

There is not much to say as far as disliking MotionPoint. We have had some challenges with integrating the technology with our products; however, MotionPoint works very hard to assist us in finding a solution that works. We have yet to have a problem we couldn't solve.

Their level of support is amazing, in case a situation is found, after the support ticket is created, they answer in less than 30mins and provide constant updates of what they are doing and their findings. I even recall times when they setup a meeting if needed to show us the root cause and their proposed solutions.

Nothing from what I can recall in the last 3 years working with them, their SLAs are top-notch.

The communication between teams is very good, they are so kind and work with respect, the information and images attached on the tickets are very helpful, they are competent

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

Better translation quality, some phrases or text translated doesn't have any sense in Spanish. Sometimes motion point team takes them a long time to start fixing a ticket, so, when they use the user provided, the user is not working anymore, because users are changing all the time, then I have to find another user and it sometimes happens the same, and takes me a lot of time find another user

Empower Retirement and Personal Capital companies have had a better performance with Spanish pages, and many functionalities have been fixed with the motion team support

We really like how when new content is added, it is either instantly translated to Spanish, or if it is entirely new content, within 24 hours. They also have quick and responsive support.

The TranSend feature, which allows instant translations based on our existing library, could be more user-friendly.

It is a proxy driven solution that scans the native language site, so it's just looking at delta changes. Have used MotionPoint with Glassfish, HIPPO (Bloomreach), BigCommerce and SAP Commerce.

There are times when it is difficult to sort out issues through their support system. Can take several steps if you are going between an IT dept, a business unit and MotionPoint.

Canadian French and Canadian English on a Canadian website. It is required by law, so we are staying legal and, more importantly, useful to an audience that means an awful lot to us.

What I like best is how quickly the team responds when I have a question or an issue to resolve.

Password reset seems to happen too often and be too strict, but I guess that shows a good sense of security with the platform.

The problem to solve is how to manage a full suite of constantly-changing customer-facing documentation in three languages.

The service works with almost no input on our part. We just update the English site and the translated pages are updated automatically, generally within a day.

Because HTML comments are used to control translation in some circumstances, we can't minify our HTML for SEO.

This is an excellent service, and unique in functionality

Diverse languages: The application is intensively studied by language experts and developed like a library. You can search and translate any word, sentence you want. App provides transcription to help you memorize vocabulary more effectively. You can also save words for quick review when needed. You can share translations with others.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

Some app slang words cannot be translated. Requires users to have the background knowledge to recognize some words, If you want more features, you have to upgrade your account, which costs money.

**What problems is MotionPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Good interaction: Some apps even develop communication with Vietnamese people, you will quickly improve your speaking skills.
Accuracy: The ability to translate the language is accurate from 90-99%, some apps even calculate the score and level for you.
Flexibility: Because you don't have to depend on anyone, you can arrange your time and study whenever you want.

The team is extremely professional. They don't just do their job, but think one step ahead - as if they were part of your organization. This level of engagement and professionalism combined with their solid technology makes the service they provide outstanding for our organization.

**What do you dislike about MotionPoint?**

Acknowledging that Motionpoint's main service is website translations I would wish to also leverage their service for translation of other materials. Unfortunately prices for those are relatively high compared to local translation services in most of our European countries.

Work with them as partners and not as suppliers and you'll be set-up for success.

Easy, automatic translation of a very complex website environment. As we have many editors in different business units and functions as well as in different countries Motionpoint ensures consistent translation across all content and greatly support quality assurance.

They handle everything that I need from a translation perspective.  I basically do nothing to keep my Spanish Site running

Price is a bit high and they are not always as responsive as I would like.

Keeping a Spanish site up-to-date without having to hire my own translators.  They have saved me a lot of effort
