# What are the best data-centric security platforms automating encryption and access control without manual data classification?

Yeah the "without manual classification" part is the real ask, because tagging data by hand doesn't scale and always leaves gaps. Varonis is the standout for this, its whole model is automatically discovering and classifying sensitive data across your environment, then enforcing least-privilege access and flagging risky exposure, so you're not relying on humans to label everything. Virtru automates encryption based on rules and data patterns, so protection applies without a manual sorting step. Imperva also brings automated discovery and classification on the database side. To be real, no auto-classification is perfect, so I'd run each against a sample of your actual data and check the false-positive and miss rate before trusting it to drive access control. What's your environment mostly, cloud file stores, on-prem, databases? That determines which one classifies most accurately for you.
