Motion Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI
Is Motion free, or does it offer a free trial?

No. According to G2 data, Motion does not offer a free plan or free trial. Users need to purchase a paid plan to access the product. Visit the seller's official pricing page for current pricing details and plan options.

Who is Motion pricing best suited for?

Motion's pricing is best suited for mid-market performance marketing teams and agencies managing significant paid social budgets, primarily on Meta and TikTok. G2 reviewers from mid-market companies across consumer goods, marketing and advertising, retail, and health and wellness represent the strongest concentration of satisfied users. Enterprise reviewers in leisure, travel, consumer goods, and computer software also report strong fit, particularly for teams coordinating between creative and media functions at scale. G2 reviews suggest Motion is less ideal for very small businesses or B2B-focused teams, with one reviewer noting limited LinkedIn functionality and another flagging that pricing requires serious performance budgets to justify the investment.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of Motion?

G2's pricing data for Motion shows no free tier. Motion operates on a custom-quote enterprise pricing model, meaning prospective buyers engage directly with Motion's sales team rather than selecting from published tiers. G2 reviewers do reference AI-powered features such as creative tagging, AI agents, and advanced reporting as capabilities that appear gated or limited depending on license level, with one reviewer noting that certain AI agents were only available in a free or restricted capacity. Teams evaluating Motion should expect pricing to scale with ad spend volume and account count, both of which G2 users identify as key factors influencing what they can access within their Motion subscription.

Is Motion considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly regard Motion as a premium investment that delivers strong returns for performance marketing and creative strategy teams. High ratings dominate the review set, with users consistently citing hours saved on manual reporting, faster creative iteration, and cleaner client-facing outputs as core value drivers. One G2 reviewer noted it is 'worth every penny and then some' compared to manual creative reporting. However, a handful of G2 users flag Motion's pricing as a notable line item, particularly smaller agencies and DTC brands watching margins. One reviewer explicitly called pricing 'a little high' given increasing AI competition. The consensus is strong value for teams with serious paid social budgets, less clear-cut for lean operations.

What do you like best about Motion?

I think the visual aspect is what I like most about Motion. It's easy to sort by different metrics, bring in different metrics to display, and having it right in front of you in a dashboard ready for export into any report is very palatable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

Honestly, the visual side of things is also a little bit of downside. I wish that there was a data heavy user setting, where you could just kind of internally compare and contrast different campaigns, ad sets, whatnot without having to visually represent it. For internal optimization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Motion?

One of my favorite things about Motion is how easy it is to review ads from multiple platforms together in one place. It really streamlines comparisons and allows us to easily talk with our creative team about what's working and what's not. I also really value the Brand intel feature, which lets you save and collect creative assets from different brands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Motion?

I really wish you could create custom scores based on different metrics. Sometimes we're judging ad performance based on engagement, other times it's CPM. But if we could create a weighted score using multiple metrics so that we could define one source of truth for performance, that would be fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
