I've been using the tool for about two years and the evolution has been enormous; innovation is constant and it has more and more functionalities, incomparable to what it was at the beginning. I think the integration with Patchstack is a great success: having leader-level security for WordPress included in the service, at a very competitive price, is a significant leap and allows you to worry much less. The external backups are super transparent and are set up in three steps. I also greatly value the improvements in mass updates and vulnerability notifications (I used to receive one email per website, now a single global email, much more manageable). The included Uptime Monitor is another strong point: there are services that charge separately just for this and in Modular DS it is included. The secure plugin updates continue to be one of the features that give me the most peace of mind. And as a detail that I value a lot: they have Catalan available, something important because I communicate in Catalan with many of my clients. **What do you dislike about Modular DS?** The reports are the point to improve. They have evolved quite a bit, but it's still difficult to customize them as I would like. **What problems is Modular DS solving and how is that benefiting you?** I manage about 35 WordPress websites for clients with Modular DS: updates, security, backups, and monitoring, all from a single dashboard. Allow the creation of groups to manage them differently according to the type of client (in my case, for example, it depends on the recurrence and level of monitoring that clients have contracted or to separate my own websites). The interface and menus are very good and allow you to quickly see the overall range of functionalities. In terms of features, I love being able to make updates with a simple button, ensuring safe updates, where I can compare if the UI/UX changed after the backup. And if it changed, I can revert the update, which I consider an excellent feature. Additionally, the usability is great, allowing updates on multiple WordPress websites at once, without needing to manually access each one of them. Currently, you cannot do anything on your mobile phones. 3. Database Optimization Based on a lot of feedback, they listened and already put a bunch of features to be implemented during 2025, some as early as first quarter of 2025. I am particularly interested in: 1. Backups to 3rd party storage. I would like for them to support encryption with our own password/passphrase. 2. Report Templates 3. Safe Updates 4.
