I love the interface of Modular DS and how it works overall. I find the ability to work with all web pages from one place very valuable, which saves a lot of time and effort. Above all, I value the support it offers, as it is great; talking to Héctor, one of the founders, has been wonderful, and the support he provides is excellent. The number of tools it offers is impressive, such as the ability to update plugins and templates safely and make backups at daily or weekly intervals. I think some improvements could be made to the backup options, such as allowing backups every hour or every 2 hours. And perhaps improve the installation process and onboarding a bit, as sometimes it doesn't work well and I have to do it manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nothing sings sweeter than a software deal that combines most of the benefits from other providers for a similar service. I have used another service since 2019 and the annual fee is steep for a small business. I hope the team at Modular increase their exposure, branding and future customer base. I really like how Modular DS reduces the time we spend updating plugins and themes, in addition to providing us with greater control over the maintenance and security of the websites. The peace of mind offered by having everything in a single panel is something I value, as I can check if any website is having issues and where the problem is. The monthly reports are also a great added value, as they allow our clients to see the most valuable metrics of their website, which better justifies the cost of the service and generates loyalty by showing that we care about them. Aside from being a cloud platform with a modern interface, clear navigation and organization logic, something I highlight is the ease of creating, customizing, and scheduling reports in a very clean way and natively in Spanish (including other languages), in addition to the ability to schedule actions and perform backups in an integrated manner... Another point to highlight that is undoubtedly decisive is the human quality behind it to provide technical support and communication at all times, truly a great value! I love the clean design of Modular DS and how easy it is to use. The ability to manage all my clients from a single application is invaluable. I can update all the plugins from one place, which is very convenient. Additionally, the ability to view Google Search Console and Analytics at a glance saves a lot of time and effort, allowing me to have a clear overview. I've tried and used multiple solution for managing dozens of WordPress websites. Modular DS has been delivering great results at a price point that still keeps it interesting to offer maintenance services to small and medium sized clients. The software is easy to use and super fast!

Support is incredibly fast with providing answers and solutions when facing an issue. Besides, what's important for me is to see progress and improvements on platforms such as this one. The only thing I could think of is the lack of back-ups to external platforms (IE: Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) and creating global back-up settings (like the new global reports) so that I can plan something like: 2-daily database back-ups per day and one weekly full-site back-up. Modular DS is a WordPress website management SaaS tool with a clean, simple, easy-to-use UI and is feature rich.

As of today, the following features are in progress according to their roadmap and I know that many of us requested those:

1. 1 click backup restoration

2. Responsive version. Currently, you cannot do anything on your mobile phones.

3. Database Optimization

Based on a lot of feedback, they listened and already put a bunch of features to be implemented during 2025, some as early as first quarter of 2025.

I am particularly interested in:

1. Backups to 3rd party storage. I would like for them to support encryption with our own password/passphrase.

2. Report Templates

3. Safe Updates

4. Be able to select multiple sites for updates

5. Clone/migrate and create staging sites.

Backups and updates ran fast in my testing of one of my production sites.

I would like for them to also look at some integrations so that we could automate report related workflows/tasks. Currently, Reports can be manually created as one-off or set up as scheduled as Weekly, Monthly, or Quarterly. There's nothing to dislike for me so far, this team is working restlessly and bringing new updates and features all the time. I'm hoping for more integrations besides Google in the future.
