Outstanding spam protection. Immediately had a huge impact on our environment. Saved us bandwidth by being hosted in the cloud. Tech support is fantastic. Always North American support and they are very helpful in explaining what the problem is. They will show you how to set up and configure rules etc. Lots of features (for a price), such as DLP, large file attachment, encryption. We only use the spam portion, but may be adding on the DLP protection in the near future for sensitive documents in e-mails. They help you implement from start to finish. After about 2 weeks we had all settings optimal and I honestly rarely have to touch it. White list etc. can be managed by users either a web console or by an Outlook plug-in drastically cuts down on help desk calls for stuff getting caught or stuff that needs to be blocked. They can be a bit pricey compared to other vendors. I was able to work them down with several calls and comparison quotes from other companies, so don't ever just go off the first price they give you. The service, reliability and assurance. When your email exchange server is offline (updates, upgrades, failure or you simply lose the internet at our hosting site, we can be sure Mimecast is catching our email! This has cut our spam/virus's and spoofing emails. It also allows us to send and receive emails "offline" using the outlook plugin! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
