Ease of use, helpful features, and rep support.
Millie makes it really easy for employees to get their charitable donations matched. They can either donate directly through Millie or they can upload a receipt. It's easy to work with Millie to get a charity added if an employee doesn't see it in the Millie database, but the database is very extensive.
The admin features are great! It's easy to manually approve/deny match requests and you can designate charities for an auto match. The reporting works perfectly for what I need to track.
You can met with your company's rep as much or as little as you'd like. I find it very helpful to meet with our rep because she helps me think about what I can be doing to get more people to use Millie. There are also a lot of new features that Millie has been rolling out and it's helpful to get a demo of these live vs. remembering to check out the site to see what's new. Like most good things, this isn't a cheap product but it's worth it for us to help encourage charitable giving with our employees. Since we've been using Millie for years I honestly haven't compared it to other charitable giving platforms so I can't say how the price compares. I will say, it would be really difficult for me to manage even just company matches on my own so the fact that the platform cost covers that and all their other features makes it worth it in my mind.
The only "issue" I've ever run into is needing to search by an org's EIN because I can't find them in the database by searching for their actual org name. Luckily it's an easy work around and when I haven't been able to find an org, our Millie rep either finds it for me immediately or helps me get it added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
