It's easy to administrate and create new spaces for people to interact. Everything works pretty straightforward once you understand the "Spaces" model for creating content and the configurable plans allow very granular access to content. It's amazing to be able to go live, then automatically have that video pop up as a post in your feed. Private messages, group chats, tons of functionality. You can hide the members list so people don't have to be public if they don't want. New members really get up to speed quickly and the phone app works pretty well too. All in all, this platform is the core of my business and I'm very happy with it. **What do you dislike about Mighty Networks?** Page builder features are very limited. My courses have a lot of complex information (we show you how to build your own stargazing binoculars) and it'd be amazing to have a basic pagebuilder as is standard in most web platforms. It's also impossible to create a gift subscription or course membership. There's a Web3 token thing but I'm not in 1,000,000 years relying on crypto/nft people for my business. So in order to gift a membership, you have to create a hidden free access level and then give people a QR code on the honor system. There's also no ability to sell/send physical merch yet so we have to have a separate website to do that. It makes selling access to a course with physical components a little cumbersome. The video hosting is somewhat limited, last I checked there's no auto CC so I use Vimeo for video. **What problems is Mighty Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mighty Networks creates paywalled access to my courses and a community for students to share their progress. My customer base is not very into social media and having your own private social media network is a huge benefit to people who are concerned about privacy, ads, etc. in a traditional Facebook Groups type setting. **Official Response from Tanisha Singh:** > Hey Robert! There is no doubt that they set the bar REALLY high in the industry for membership platforms. They communicate beautifully and any time at all I have a need and reach out to customer service they respond quickly and with respect and joy (or so it seems). My members have also reached out to ask questions of their customer service and Mighty always has responded with excellence. The updates to the platform are amazing. The past 18 months alone have seen HUGE updates and trainings to go with it without additional cost. I have never heard of a platform being this amazing. **What do you dislike about Mighty Networks?** The cost. But I don't think they could justify the development team's existence (not to mention the customer service) without the cost. Many of my members struggle with navigating the platform. That, of course could be in part because of the way I have used the platform. I can't integrate Mighty with Kartra...or the only option is very klunky and wouldn't allow me to do what I need to do. **What problems is Mighty Networks solving and how is that benefiting you?** I needed to take my community off of Facebook and Mighty has given me a beautiful alternative to my members. Mighty is enabling my people to connect with one another and also with learning curriculum. They are being trained... I previously used Kartra for all of my membership needs, but the community piece was missing...and that is why I used Facebook. I had to hire an external pro to help me re-configure the entire thing to make it a machine. As an entrepreneur, I need to spend my time honing what specific skills make me money, not learning tech. We signed up for a few trials after months of research and there are a lot of frustrating platforms out there. Not just the unattractive designs, but difficult to set up and understand. We had some doubts about Mighty Networks at first, mostly the ability to get quality customer service. No reason to worry there! We now sit, almost a year later, knowing that of all the different business membership, software, programs we have, Mighty Networks is not just our favorite, but the most important membership to the success of our business. For us, this means that as we grow, we can sophisticate and optimize—all without slowing down the initial implementation. And, with full white-labeling and the ability to upgrade to having our own stand-alone app, the level of sophistication available longterm is unmatched. **What do you dislike about Mighty Networks?** They currently do not have full emoji reaction support built-in, but rather simply the ability to "Heart" a post or article. Not that big of a deal for us, but more robust support would definitely be nice to have. Additionally, at this time, all elements of the Community are fully searchable except Chat specifically. The build-out was easy to use, and there was help when we got stuck. **What do you dislike about Mighty Networks?** It no longer fits our needs; more has been added, which would be great for others (live video feed,) but the new format isn't as intuitive to use for our students, and we are spending time orienting people to where things are located we didn't need to do before. There are also some unique issues to our business as our program is six months long and can't "add on" or charge folks for a second round within TMN, not graduate people out of their plan after they complete the six months. Support often takes 24+ hours to reply, which has been an issue with urgent issues we ran into. It may be too advanced for our needs, more high-tech than our audience, or better suited for a larger audience.
