## Microsoft PowerPoint Reviews
  ### 1. An All-Time Reliable Tool for Presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mharie P. | Project Administrator, Real Estate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

I have been using Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations since I was in college. This tool has made it easy to make a creative and fun presentation, especially during college. Even the most interesting topic can be boring if it's too long but animated and fun slides, elevates the quality of the presentation and would keep the audience's attention to the presentation. Even now that I am working, it is still a relevant tool to use whenever we have to conduct training with new hires. It is easy to customize the slides and is virtually accessible anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

The last thing I like about Microsoft PowerPoint is that most of the readily available templates were too girly. It would be better if we can have more templates that were industry-themed than with too feminine-themed templates.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Conducting training is much easier using Microsoft PowerPoint. The animations and customization option on each slide make the presentation more interesting and keeps the attention of the audience.

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It's fairly limited in what you can import into your slides, limitations still exist due the eps and ps files, for pdf, svg (works in word though) but these are major vector formats that are essentially for design.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Posters and presentations are created in this share, used for business presentations, project reports and other date and report representations at various functions like conferences and so on

  ### 10. Review of the Slideshow Presentation Software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kowsyap p. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is an incredible program which helps create breathtaking, professional presentations. Through its convenient drag and drop design, one can simply add written content, visuals and media components to the slides. It also has a wide array of features to spark interest in the audience with captivating animations, slideshows and beyond. Refined themes are customizable for you to brand your slides quickly for the perfect look each time.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

PowerPoint offers only basic, inadequate design options. Real-time collaboration is difficult due to potential confusion caused by multiple versions of a presentation. Furthermore, image resizing is quite troublesome, and the same outdated templates are continuously used, making presentations appear mundane.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Microsoft PowerPoint to great advantage in creating impressive and visually captivating presentations with ease and efficiency. This has saved me so much time and hassle when I have meetings or lectures, since there is no longer the need for a long time-consuming process of fine-tuning slides or memorizing complex instructions. It also makes it convenient to collaborate with others remotely on one presentation, instead of manually exchanging files or handily make adjustments.

  ### 11. Microsoft PowerPoint

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

PowerPoint is so intuitive and easy to use, even my kids use it without having done any training, you can create a wide range of presentations, from simple slides to complex presentations. You can use text, images, videos, graphs, charts, animations, etc

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It has little variety of designs in the templates, I also had some problems with the versions, the new ones are not completely compatible with the older versions.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Of all the presentation tools I know of, this is the easiest and fastest to use, even complex ideas can be communicated thanks to the features it has, it also serves as a document that can later be shared and saved as an archive

  ### 12. The world of Powerpoint

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Power-point is a great tool for presentations and graphing. I have created huge amounts of training tools with this program and it has proved to be a great system. The templates are my friend, I utilize them on a regular basis to create complicated charts, graphs, etc. they make life much simpler and you get the job done. I have created hundreds of powerpoints over the years and the system just keeps improving. The design layouts are getting better as well.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Adding sound is complicated to implement, video can be a bit tough as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Microsoft PowerPoint:**

if you need to create presentations, this is the program to use it is powerful and easy to use.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When the need arises to visually teach this tool is invaluable for our organization. I found this program is also nice for creating charts, Visio is nice but not as easy to use the templates are your friend. I go to Microsoft's website and download their templates and alter them on a regular basis and it is easy as 1,2, 3. You look pretty smart when you are finished.

  ### 13. Top presentation software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

One of the most significant advantages of PowerPoint is its ease of use. Even if you're not tech-savvy, you can quickly learn how to create a basic presentation. The user interface is intuitive and user-friendly, making adding text, images, and multimedia elements to your slides easy. It comes with a wide range of templates and themes that you can be used to create professional slideshows. Another advantage is the endless possibilities - you can add animations, transitions, and multimedia elements like videos and audio files to make your presentation more engaging and interactive.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

There is nothing much to dislike, but I think the customization options are limited - though it offers a wide range of templates and themes and integrates well with another office suite of products, it is less interactive, and integrations with non-MS products appear to be limited

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is a powerful, user-friendly program that can help create engaging and effective presentations. Whether you're a student, a professional, or simply looking to create a slideshow for personal use, this application readily serves the purpose.

  ### 14. Best tool for creating business presentations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

I have been using PowerPoint for decades.PowerPoint is the best tool for business presentations, storyboarding for course development, one-page flyers and/or job aids. Easy to use with lots of features. PowerPoint is easy to use from novice to expert.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

The only thing I dislike about PowerPoint is not related to the product itself. I disllike when people overuse or use too many actions and animations. Less is more when it comes to PowerPoint and some users try to use all the features. By doing they take away from the presentation.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Clear communication. PowerPoint allows users to communicate effectively during presentations, meetings and demonstrations. PowerPoint improves timely communication (when used properly).

  ### 15. Essential presentation software - use deliberately and with templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex N. | Independent Consultant/Chief Marketing Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It's an accepted presentation platform for most business users today. Most people have been through at least one PowerPoint presentation so there's really no barriers when making a presentation to an audience beyond possible network connection problems if doing remotely.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Sometimes what is communicated in slides is not enough to get the point across to attendees. Also when reviewing PowerPoint presentations, people may focus more on the style of the presentation than the substance and content.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great for trainings and meetings. It's also a great platform for status updates because information can be communicated visually and the presentation itself is a record of the meeting taking place. If someone misses the training or can't attend - the PowerPoint, if done well, can substitute at least in part for the attendance.

MS PowerPoint also makes it easy to create vibrant multimedia presentations. Plus, with pre-loaded backgrounds available on each template, anyone can customize their slide decks with minimal effort - creating stunning results in just a few clicks!

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

I dislike that when presenting in Microsoft PowerPoint, many presenters end up relying on reading rather than improvising or using visuals to convey content. The video transitions also tend to look similar and more like animations instead of making meaningful connections between ideas.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer have to spend a lot of time and effort creating complex presentations myself. Microsoft PowerPoint allows me to benefit from the creative content provided by my team members, saving me valuable energy so I can focus on achieving our ultimate goals.

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

The best thing about the item is that it is in reverse viable consistently. Starting from my profession in the administration world, I have been utilizing this tool efficiently to such an extent that I like using the word craftsmanship. Nowadays, we have plenty of elements with textual styles, formats, and template design plans (this is the one I utilize the most when I dump data on the slides). It's forever been a rescuer to my occupation since I don't need to stress over designing at any cost.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

The crop aspect doesn't fill in the proper form in Powerpoint. It is challenging to edit precisely as no direction lines are given inside the tool. It is absurd to trade documents from Powerpoint online to Google Slides.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is making a simple to-utilize stage that has been utilized for both academic and organizational levels. The fascinating thing is that the ppt making or slide arrangement is present in the same tool, which is very beneficial.

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It is a well-known and very useful tool, so information can be easily found online. Additionally, it has the necessary tools to create presentations, both simple and more elaborate ones, depending of course on the user's skill and experience. It is a great program for creating quickly and without many complications.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

It may be that to create more elaborate presentations, the process is more complicated and not as interactive as other programs. Despite being a great tool, it is not very customizable, the file size is significant, the slide space is limited, and it has a cost.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of presentations in a quick way, in addition to being useful for creating simple illustrations (although this is not its purpose), but once you have the program, it can be used for different applications in design.

**Reviewed by:** Oliver T. | PhD Student, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is a program that is essentially the industry default for creating slideshows to use in presentations. Many would have grown up using it at school throughout their schooling, meaning that PowerPoint files can be worked on collaboratively between users without any learning curve or adjustment required - in this sense, it is very accessible. As such, it is familiar and easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?**

The main downside would be that the built-in image and icon library can be quite limited compared to more specialized software packages for use in the hard sciences, requiring one to attain images from external sources. Another downside is that it can be quite difficult to select specific elements when there are many in a small region or across different layers, such as in creating a poster for a presentation.
There may also be issues when converting between file types, such as between windows and mac versions of PowerPoint, which may mess up slide animations and transitions, which can be problematic.
Lastly, it can be quite expensive for individual use if not provided for by the business you are working for, such as the university. Otherwise, one does not have much choice in alternate software if everyone else in the organization is also using PowerPoint.

**What problems is Microsoft PowerPoint solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft PowerPoint is the default program that we use to create slideshows for giving scientific research presentations or for use in teaching. It is also commonly used to create scientific posters in large sizes for conference presentations.
