The biggest advantage is the level of control it gives you over every aspect of a presentation: layouts, typography, charts, tables, images, animations, master slides and complex visual structures can all be edited exactly the way you need them. For client presentations, consulting decks, pitch decks, investor presentations and other business-critical documents, that flexibility is extremely difficult to replace. PowerPoint is also such an established standard that sharing and collaborating with clients, colleagues and external partners is straightforward. What has made the workflow even better for us is combining PowerPoint with Slaide as our AI presentation layer. We use Slaide to generate and structure presentations with AI and then continue working with the editable slides in PowerPoint. That combination gives us the speed of an AI presentation maker without sacrificing the flexibility and precision of PowerPoint. PowerPoint works extremely well with the rest of our stack because it is still the central format for professional presentations. I like that I can add images, set up my title page to cascade using different templates, and time my slide transitions. I also like that I can send my presentations to others and collaborate with them. As for setting up it's easy, just download it and sign in with you microsoft account to sync files and preferences etc. Also you can use 365 copilot to help if you want to in terms of things like changing wording or making images better or suggestions for presentation flow based on what you currently have. I can change the orientation of the slides. I also like that it easily transfers from presentation format to printable format. It’s stable, reliable, and it just works. User Interface is intuitive, similar to other Microsoft office tools. And since it usually comes with M365 package it does not cost any extra. **What do you dislike about Microsoft PowerPoint?** The default slide templates really push you toward dense, text-heavy bullet points.. The default templates and animations don't look modern—they look outdated. This is where PowerPoint really falls behind the competition, whose presentations generally look much better.
