## Microsoft Power Automate Reviews
  ### 1. Very useful and quick to implement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesar M. | Data Science Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

This tool is very useful and quick to implement (almost zero code).

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

No options on how to organize Flows into folders.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has allowed us to create scheduled alerts when something needs to be repaired quickly.

  ### 2. Review of Microsoft Power automate with an overall rating of 8/10

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ibitamuno T. | Process automation and BI Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

What i like best about power automate is the flow chart format the trigger and actions are presented in, the ability to connect with various connectors within and outside the 365 packages, the ability to generate and create flows with copilot and the email notifications on weekly flow failures.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

I dislike the expression formulas. They are easy to mess up and the syntax isn't really clear. Some actions aren't available for e.g there's a start of month variable but there's none for the end of the month. The expression formulas aren't user friendly but it's a vital part of all flows. Additionally, the limited run history of only 28 days hinders the ability to review past runs and troubleshoot issues effectively. Also, some performance issues such as failures and timeouts occur without clear reasons or guidance for debugging especially the "get a PDF of a signed aggreement" action with the adobe sign integration

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Automate as the engine for creating workflows for applications developed within Power Apps, this applications have addressed the challenge of providing staff with easy access to raise requests and report hazards promptly with real time status update on the reports made. It has also established an audit trail, enhancing process compliance monitoring and accountability.
Power Automate has also helped improve our ESG impact by reducing manual paper processes through the creation of workflows that carryout these tasks automatically. It has also minimized human typing errors by extracting text from documents. This has also helped to increase the productivity of staff and helped them focus on more important tasks.

  ### 3. Awesome experience, intuitive enough if experienced.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lestter B. | AI Sym creator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

Feels very friendly user, it doesn't look overwhelming like other RPA platforms.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

For exhaustive and larger (complex) tasks, it can get a little challenging unlike other platforms where you can easily go through a complete complex process without losing yourself handling activities.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me understanding a little easier how to manage tasks merging the office ecosystem with this platform, automating my personal repetitive tasks help me get through the rest of my workload throughout the day.

  ### 4. The experience has been excellent so far. The power automate helps process information seamlessly.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Parth R. | CRE Business Intelligence Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

The best thing about Power Automate is the integration with other tools. You can add connectors to the flow and that would ultimately improve overall flow of information. The automatic update with Azure DevOps is another exciting connector which helps in putting up story on the board.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

There are some things which definitely needs worked on. First is that it takes time to make changes to the flow and get it updated (doesn’t update instantly). I have lost progress on several occasions with that. Secondly, the ADO connectors allows to post story in a general category and not in any epic or feature specifically.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There are several use cases where we have successfully implemented. The major problem it is solving is sending automated emails to the internal business users when ever there is a change in Sharepoint list or data is added to it.

  ### 5. Automates Repetitive Tasks and Connects Systems Without the Complexity

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2026

  ### 6. Microsoft Power Automate - A good tool, still far away from being great

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco R. | Microsoft SharePoint Modern Experience Site Owner with Power Platform, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

I like the ability to automate tasks that envolve the use of Microsoft 365 suite. It is easy to implement, due to it's intuitive user interface, templates, catalog and flows editor. I like the option of testing the flow with manual triggers, and it is easy to debug the executions. It has ease of integration with Microsoft Surveys, Microsoft OneNote, Microsoft Planner, etc. Regarding its frequency of use, it is something that you use anytime you need to create or edit a flow. Once all flows are in production, there is no point in accessing the tool, since it is doing its automated taks.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

The lack of integrations outside of the Microsoft 365 suite. Since there are many tools for analytics, surveys, data collection and integration (including tag managers and real-time data platforms), it would be great to have connectors from other vendors. Many of the connectors are in preview state and/or require additional licenses/payments to accomplish tasks that are not natively available in the power platform. Regarding customer support, it lacks training material, and many features required in Microsoft blog take much time to be implemented.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Power Platform is helping us automate tasks that usually start with the submission of a form/survey, which then triggers automatic tasks, such as sending e-mails, writting notifications in Microsoft Teams, and storing content on Microsft OneDrive.

  ### 34. Tried and Tested Automation Tool That Can Do (Seemingly) Anything

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Blake R. | Business Intelligence Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

The part I liked best is more than likely the user interface and ability to sift through automation options which is really the differentiator for Power Automate, in my opinion. It's so easy to just integrate with your machine and whatever applications/interfaces you may be using, and the implementation really just is as easy as having a Microsoft account and downloading the application - it's that powerful. I used the application everyday for about six months and had few problems the whole time; when the small problems did arise (Legacy software not cooperating or Bad code in web apps), Microsoft support answered my questions and provided the best feedback they could. With their help and just a bunch of troubleshooting, which goes fast with the way the UI is setup, I was able to work thru most of my problems.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

Overall, I disliked Power Automate's ability to decipher any software; I really struggled to work with some legacy software. Although these software were generating questionable code, I wish there was a way for Power Automate to process what is happening even if the code is constantly changing. I think it could do this via AI if it can guess what I'm trying to capture. Also, the difference in desktop and web apps are confusing and unnecessary, but that is a small gripe.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Power Automate allowed for repetitive tasks to be built into a process and eventually perfected to be used hundreds, if not thousands, of times. We were able to eliminate Excel tasks for multiple employees, erase a huge chunk of busy work of hundreds of social workers, and even automate outreach to clients. Using it basically like the agents that are up and coming, we were able to have an "employee" working for us that did flawless work on things that noone else wanted to do, or had the time to do!

  ### 35. Using Microsoft Power Automate is like having a personal assistant on steroids.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

It’s like magic but for your daily grind. You set it up once, and it handles all the repetitive tasks for you, like a low-key life hack. Plus, it connects with so many apps—Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, even Google Sheets. It’s like having the Avengers of productivity on your team.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

Okay, real talk Power Automate is awesome, but it has its quirks. Sometimes it feels a bit too technical, especially when you’re diving into the more advanced stuff. Like, why do I need to Google every other term when setting up a complex flow?
Also, debugging errors can be a pain. If something breaks, the error messages are like riddles from a cryptic professor, super vague and not always helpful.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Microsoft Power Automate is basically your BFF for all the boring, repetitive tasks you hate doing. It’s like a productivity cheat code, automating stuff like email replies, data entry, or even approval workflows. No more wasting time doing the same thing a million times; it just handles it for you. The best part? It connects all your fave apps—Outlook, Slack, Google Drive, so everything’s synced and smooth. For me, it’s a total lifesaver. I’ve got it sorting my email attachments and organizing them into folders like a pro. It’s like having a robot assistant that never messes up. Honestly, 10/10 recommend for cutting down stress and leveling up your workflow.

  ### 36. Power Automate made some automation that I need to perform simple and easy to do.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used it for an email extraction, then add the extracted email data into an excel file. Additional I used it to add updated information in a SharePoint list to another. Also to complete approvals for request done but staff members

  ### 37. Great for Automating Microsoft Apps, But Steep Learning Curve for Beginners

  ### 38. Things I like about Power Automate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay V. | Application Development Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

Working extensively in Accenture with Power Apps for 2 years almost every day, the concept of low code no code was fun. Working with number of clients It was very easy to convey the detailed implementation of how things work, coming from development background I always found difficulty in sharing details with end users or customers.
Coming to integration my builds had frontend build being integrated with sharepoint, the visuals were so good in PowerApps that it made development very easy.
I had fun doing things in my company over 2 years.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

One thing is like sometimes we have to delete connections and reconnect things for some minute changes to work, and by the time i was working we had to manually refresh things to work, So yeah these were the only down side with whatever I had worked

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Customer data, newsletter information storing in sharepoint and frontend being integrated in webapps like some parts of it

  ### 48. Game Changer for Repetitive Tasks!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anitra L. | Automation Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

RPA (Robotic Process Automation) is a total game-changer when it comes to cutting out all the boring, repetitive tasks. It literally saves you a ton of time by automating the manual work—less room for mistakes and way more productivity.

What’s really cool is how easily it slips into your current systems like SAP, Oracle, or whatever else you’re running. You don’t have to tear apart your whole workflow; RPA just fits in and smooths everything out. Plus, it lets your team focus on the stuff that actually matters instead of getting bogged down in tedious tasks.

Now, don’t get me wrong—it’s awesome for routine, rule-based work, but it’s not magic. Anything that needs a bit of human judgment or creativity still needs you in the mix. And yeah, if a system update messes with the interface, your bots might need a little fixing up.

Bottom line: RPA is a smart move if you’re looking to boost efficiency and cut costs. Just keep an eye on things and be ready to do a bit of maintenance when needed.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

Honestly, what bugs me about RPA is that it’s not a magic fix-all. It’s fantastic for handling routine, predictable tasks, but when things get messy or require a human touch, it just can’t keep up. I end up having to jump in when a system update screws with the interface and my bots break down—talk about a maintenance headache. It feels like I’m stuck juggling fixes instead of reaping all the benefits. Plus, it sometimes seems like a band-aid solution rather than a complete overhaul, leaving me frustrated that I still have to do the heavy lifting when complexity creeps in.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, what really wins me over with Microsoft Power Automate is how it cuts out all the tedious, repetitive tasks that just suck up my time. Instead of manually transferring data or clicking through endless menus, it automatically handles these mundane processes for me—especially with its seamless integration with tools like Excel, Teams, and Outlook.

This means I can focus more on the creative and strategic parts of my work, rather than getting bogged down in the admin stuff. Plus, it drastically cuts down on human error, so I’m not constantly fixing data mix-ups. In short, Power Automate feels like having an extra set of hands that keeps my workday smooth and stress-free.

  ### 49. Great tool requires great knowledge

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

The fact that I don't have to do everything myself when there's so much to do! I just simply automate tasks that have no productive value for me.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

It's a high learning curve even though it has a great learning platform and there's templates for most basic steps and so much videos on the internet.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When I upload excels to a folder, they automatically are converted to pdf so I don't have to do those extra steps.

  ### 50. Microsoft Power Automate

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jiangqin M. | Data analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Microsoft Power Automate?**

It connects to a wide range of apps, making integration very smooth. It also offers many built-in templates, which makes it easy and convenient to use.

**What do you dislike about Microsoft Power Automate?**

There are too many options, which makes me feel overwhelming and make it seem complicated.

**What problems is Microsoft Power Automate solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With built-in templates and smooth integration across platforms like Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams, Power Automate makes it faster to set up efficient processes. But too many options sometimes make very confusing. I have to check online resources to figure out how to use it.
