"Easy to use app"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

I like that it is basic. It is easy to use and doesn't require much training, if any, to use it. It helps organize all of my photos too. It is comparable to other apps that you can download. This one works seamlessly with my Microsoft Surface laptop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

The downside of Microsoft photos is the limited options for editing. It is a basic program for your basic photo needs, nothing more. I use it to do quick edits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Beyond the Lens: An in-depth evaluation of Microsoft Photos"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

Microsoft Photos is user-friendly and intuitive. The interface is created with accessibility in mind, making it simple for users of all technical levels to manage their images efficiently. It provides strong organizational tools that let users quickly sort, classify, and tag their photos. The search option makes it simpler to find desired photos among vast collections by allowing users to rapidly seek particular images based on keywords, dates, locations, or persons. What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

Because of its close integration with the Windows ecosystem, Microsoft Photos is primarily made for Windows-based devices. For users who like alternative operating systems like macOS or Linux, this may be restrictive. Microsoft Photos does have a web version, however it does not have the same features as the native Windows software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft Photos: A User-Friendly and Efficient Photo Editing Software"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

One of the best things about Microsoft Photos is its automatic tagging system. The app uses artificial intelligence to recognize the content of your photos and tag them accordingly. This makes it easy to search for specific photos by keyword or category, even if you have thousands of them.

Another feature that I appreciate is the app's ability to create albums and slideshows. You can group photos by event, location, or any other criteria you choose, and create albums that you can easily share with friends and family. The app also offers a variety of slideshow templates, making it easy to create professional-looking presentations with just a few clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

As for what I dislike about Microsoft Photos, there are a few minor issues. For example, the app can be a bit slow to load when you have a large number of photos. Additionally, while the app's basic editing tools are useful, they may not be enough for users who need more advanced editing features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way I can sort and view memories by categories, by dates, by albums and folders. Get to see the photos in different grids. Having the possibility of being able to visualize all those memories through a presentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

The options for importing images from other devices. The display options of the tool and its color palettes and even the way of accommodating the images by dates without further detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Photo collections from Microsoft not so creative"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

It is versatile (yet confusing at times) and user friendly management and editing applications. Automatically organize and categorize photos, creates albums and collages Not to mention seamlessly integrates with other Microsoft products such as One Drive and Windows 10. Automatic tagging is a useful feature Upside: Free application that comes pre-installed with Windows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

Very much limiting, the editing tools are not that great and look very basic. Sometimes the GUI is very confusing to navigate. Least useful: for me personally the remix feature which automatically creates a video. I can create a better one :) Downside: Not powerful or feature-rich compared to others Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient and Versatile: My Review of Microsoft Photos"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

In my experience as a user of Microsoft Photos, I find the app to be very versatile and efficient when it comes to managing my photo and video collection. One of the features that I appreciate the most is the ability to easily import media from various devices and organize them into albums with descriptive tags. This feature makes it very easy to locate and manage my media library. Additionally, I find the app's built-in editing tools to be impressive, as they allow me to enhance my photos with ease. Another feature that I find particularly useful is the video and slideshow creation tool, which allows me to compile my media into creative and shareable content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

Despite the many advantages of Microsoft Photos, there are also a few areas that I believe could be improved. One of the biggest issues I have encountered is the app's performance speed, which can be slow at times, particularly when working with large files or media libraries. Furthermore, while the editing tools are functional, they are not as powerful as those found in other dedicated photo editing software. Lastly, I believe the app's integration with cloud storage services beyond OneDrive could be improved, as it limits the flexibility for users who rely on other cloud storage solutions. "Easy Way to Manage your Media"
5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Photos?

Very user friendly, it is quite easy to navigate across folders VS doing it within a window. Also, it's pretty handy if changes are needed for pictures/images for those who don't have any experience in photo edition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Photos?

For visualization, sometimes may be easier to go through a list of documents with a preview at the right of the screen to easy navigation. I don't like that I can only see icons and there's no way to change it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
