Microsoft Photos is a tool I use regularly during work to quickly review screenshots, images, and visual materials shared by colleagues. What I like most is that it is already integrated into Windows and allows me to access image files immediately without installing additional software.

In my daily workflow, I often work with screenshots for documentation, internal guides, and project discussions. Microsoft Photos makes it easy to open images, zoom in on details, rotate files when needed, and perform quick edits before sharing them with team members.

I also appreciate the clean interface and fast access to image folders, which helps me review visual content efficiently throughout the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While Microsoft Photos works well for viewing and basic editing, it becomes limited when more advanced image management or editing features are needed. Tasks such as detailed annotations, batch editing, or advanced adjustments usually require dedicated software.

I have also noticed occasional slowdowns when opening large image libraries or folders containing many high-resolution files. Although these situations are not frequent, performance could be more consistent.

Overall, it works well for everyday image viewing but is not intended for advanced image editing workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are just a few things that I do not like. Sometimes it has slow performance or freezes when using the application. As I am into editing, I think there are limited editing tools. I would love to have more options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it comes embedded in Microsoft Windows operating system, it's fast and easy to use. It has basic image administration tools to organize and import pictures from external drives. Now it can connect to iCloud Photos and OneDrive natively. Also, some new functions and edit features with AI are pretty convenient and powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not very powerful and any medium or advanced editing needs would require different software. The image management organizer can also improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Microsoft Photos allows me to view, sort, and share my photos! In addition, I can use Microsoft Photos on many devices/platforms including on my PC, Microsoft OneDrive, and iCloud Photos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It can be difficult to compare photos side by side on Microsoft Photos without having to click on many pop-ups. In addition, I sometimes have difficulty staying connected to Microsoft Photos on my devices, and the application tends to run slower than alternatives, especially when attempting to view and sort through a large selection of photos. I really like the interface and the ease of use of Microsoft Photos. With the generic photo application that comes installed on Windows machines, its easy to sometimes get lost with all the various files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really don't have anything to dislike. It would be nice to compare images or view metadata easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user experience is top-notch, and an appreciable feature of Microsoft Photos is the presence of One Drive, this feature keeps me accessible to all my photos in one place through my different connected devices.

It is easy to use and safe, no privacy issues are there, so feel free to use it across your devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My overall experience with Microsoft Photos was great, but it needs to include some more advanced features like more customization, more editing features. Due to the lack of customization and professional level editing features, I tend to rely on other 3rd party applications for a more professional experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Making picture collages, video slides, and storing pictures online has been made just convenient for me by using Microsoft Photos, its the ultimate game-changer for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This application was very useful for me because I like to keep everything documented and I take screenshots of everything, so it was very useful to have the information in a single platform and it also had many editing and organizing tools so I could divide everything into different folders. The truth is that I have few negative things to say about the app, it is very easy to use, very intuitive and has many tools that you don't have to be a graphic designer to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
