The GUI is intuitive for users of all technical abilities, MFT integrates very well with the rest of the Opswat product lineup. There is huge flexibility with users, authentication sources, user groups and workflows to get files processed and through the system. Performance is good and again the GUI lets the user know progress. From an admin point of view, reports are comprehensive and exceptions such as file blocks a reported well. The ongoing cost for support and maintenance is reasonable, which includes all AV engines' signature updates. access to engineering support has been excellent. I find MetaDefender Managed File Transfer™ (MFT) incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. It just gets the job done so easily, and I'm really grateful that we've got it. I also love the fact that it's incredibly customizable, with options like having the sandbox and the deep CDR. The ability to add things in and customize it how we want is just amazing. From an administration point of view, it's incredibly easy to use, and the Opswat team themselves have been absolutely fantastic in communications and building everything with us. As a DevOps engineer, what I like most is how easy it was to fit MetaDefender MFT into our existing file workflows. We were able to automate several file transfers between internal systems and external partners without having to build and maintain custom scripts for everything. The approval rules and security policies also give us much better control over what is moving between environments. Before MFT, we had several different methods for moving files between applications, including scripts, SFTP and manual uploads. This made it harder to keep the same security standards everywhere and also created more work for the DevOps team. With MetaDefender MFT we were able to centralize these workflows and add security checks before files reach our internal systems. Reports from managed systems are automatically delivered to the right department, and the built-in security controls, incl. the new Aether and AI-based engines work really well in the background. I tried MetaDefender MFT for the first time yesterday after downloading it from AWS as a trial user and I was honestly impressed. I wanted to see if it could support sending large 3D graphics files to external partners and big enterprise clients, because for us this is both a reputation and a security issue. The bulk upload is great and the drag and drop just works great. Sharing stuff was super easy with the guest user thing and even full folder share.
