### 11. Best Ai Ever

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aqsa V. | C++ Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

What I like best about Meshy is how quickly it can generate 3D models and textures from text or images, which saves a lot of time during prototyping and game/app development.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

What I dislike about Meshy is that some generated models still require manual cleanup or optimization before they are ready for professional use in production projects.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy is solving the problem of creating 3D assets quickly and easily without requiring advanced modeling skills or spending hours in software like Blender. It benefits me by speeding up project development, helping with rapid prototyping, and making it easier to create avatars, clothing previews, and 3D concepts for my university and FYP projects.

 ### 12. A Huge Time Saver for Game Developers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sezer M. | Game Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

What I like most about Meshy is how fast and intuitive the whole creation process is. It lets me go from an idea to a usable 3D model in a very short time, which is incredibly valuable for game development. The balance between creative control and automation is excellent, and the results are consistently clean, detailed, and easy to integrate into engines like Unity. It feels like a tool made for creators who actually want to build and iterate quickly, not fight with technical barriers.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Sometimes the generated models can be a bit inconsistent in topology or scale, especially when aiming for very specific game-ready requirements. Having more control over polygon density, rig-readiness, and export presets for different engines would make the workflow even smoother. That said, these are mostly fine-tuning details, and the overall speed and quality still make Meshy extremely useful.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy solves the biggest bottleneck in 3D creation: time and technical complexity. Instead of spending hours or days modeling from scratch, I can quickly generate usable 3D assets from simple prompts and iterate fast. This is especially valuable in game development, where prototyping and testing ideas quickly is critical. It allows me to focus more on gameplay, design, and creativity, while still having solid visual assets to work with.

 ### 16. The Future of Hobbiest Film Making?

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan A. | Painter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I've only been using Meshy for a day and am still amazed by the results it can generate. It's hard to know where to start when it comes to positive things to say about Meshy. The fact I am writing this review along speaks volumes to how positive my experience has been. From the pricing to the asset generation to the texturing, as a single creator working on projects without a team, this speeds up the workflow and greatly assists in making previous concepts and ideas a reality.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

While Meshy is a fantastic way to generate models for use in your environment and 3d scenes, it does have it's limitations. Unless there is a clearly defined object, it does have difficulty creating a mesh that resembles the prompt at times, which can lead to some results being so far from what you hoped for and yet others being better than you could have imagined. The texturing has limitations too but I'm sure these will continue to be updated as time goes on. While you wouldn't be able to use many of these meshes for up close rendering, they do an excellent job for background environments and filling in a scene.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy is allowing me to create assets I don't have the time to create currently or have not been able to find online.

 ### 17. Quick 3D models from just one photo

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MBB . | Künstler, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

The quick creation of a 3D model: Only a photo is needed as a template.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The "Image Enhancement" option is enabled by default, but it often distorts the style. I would like to be able to set this in a profile so that I can turn it on or off as needed.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A printable 3D model is being created.

 ### 18. 3D Modeling Made Easy with Efficient API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** João Henrique K. | Analista de Sistemas e Desenvolvimento II, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I am using Meshy to develop 3D modeling of pets, especially the text-to-3D part in the initial phase. I like the possibility of having the API to help me quickly and expertly. The API allows connecting and executing scripts to batch generate, which is essential because using the web frontend would take too long due to the various breeds and models. I found the initial setup process quite simple and easy.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I haven't tested the animation of these 3D models yet, it would be nice to have a preview of the model moving as soon as we generate the 3D model.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy helps me create the mesh 'base' of various animal breeds to later apply textures, which I can't do with just photos in 3D modeling of pets.

 ### 19. Create high-quality models effortlessly – thanks to a vast library

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

It saves me the tedious task of creating models in Blender.

 ### 20. Huge Step Forward

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Togay K. | Regional Sales Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

easy to use and acceptable result on model creation.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Texturing is not good. But the most important thing is not to have pipeline of creations.
For example , it can be done by an AI agent.
First it can ask me what i am creating and for what. It can analyze my reference image, if the concept is good or not.
If everything is good, it can have some "advance settings" for example poly groups . because its really important on modeling.
Texures are not good enough for game prodution.
Remesh sshould be better. Because 10k models sometimes loses the edges

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Create low poly game assets.

 ### 21. Fast and Helpful Tool for Creating 3D Assets

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

Meshy quickly turns images and ideas into usable 3D models. It is easy to use and saves a lot of time when creating game prototypes and environment props.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Some generated models need manual cleanup, especially the topology, textures, and small details. Results can also be inconsistent when using different reference angles.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy helps me create 3D game assets quickly without modeling every object from scratch. This reduces production time and makes it easier to prototype environments and test new ideas in UEFN.

 ### 22. My Review in Meshy

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Earphel O. | I.T Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

As a beginner, I can create assets just by typing, which saves a lot of time and makes game development much easier.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Sometimes the models need extra cleanup or don’t match exactly what I imagined. Also, customization and fine control are still a bit limited compared to traditional 3D tools.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy solves the problem of creating 3D assets from scratch, which usually takes a lot of time and skill. For me, it speeds up my workflow by generating models quickly, so I can focus more on building and designing my game instead of modeling everything manually.

 ### 23. Best 3D generator

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I really like using meshy AI for making custom characters and also small details assets because they added smart topology which is helpful for low poly to mid poly users

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

It's kinda too pricey, and at the same time the T2 version of smart topology is not optimized.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making custom characters

 ### 24. Meshy AI is great for quickly turning jewelry ideas into 3D models and renders.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrine D. | Strategy, Learning and Engagement, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

What I like best about Meshy is how quickly it turns jewelry concepts into usable 3D models and renders that are great for presentations and early-stage design exploration.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

What I dislike is that hand modeling directly from text to image is not that strong yet, so you still need to clean up or reshape many details in CAD.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy is solving the problem of turning vague jewelry ideas, sketches, or reference images into tangible 3D models and renders much faster than manual modeling, which saves time on early concepting and client presentations. That benefits you by letting you explore more design directions quickly, build visual libraries for your store and social media, and move from inspiration to clickable 3D assets without starting from a blank CAD file every time.

 ### 25. new

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

It is easy to use and innovative. At the same time, there is no need to learn a program to create 3D objects.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

It’s easy to use, but I feel the credit system runs out too quickly. I also think the prices for upgrading to Pro are a bit high. On the downside, the inability to download files in the free plan is a bit of a drawback.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It eliminates the difficulty of learning and working with 3D design software, enabling rapid solutions and saving time.

 ### 26. Very easy to use, provide 3d models of quality.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DAMAN D. | 🎨 Game Visual Designer & Trailer Editor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

A real time saver. The upsides of meshy are definitely the fact that this tool can generate highly precise models for all usages : low poly, high poly and it does respect the artistic direction from the source image which is a must.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The downside of meshy are still the textures output. We don't have any control on where we want the reflection to be for the roughness, the power of the occlusion or the metallic, no emissive controls as well. The turn around option is limited to three images sources, I hope to see more in an upcoming update to increase the precision of the generations.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It generates 3d models really fast, it saves so much time and comes in handy when it comes to simple and quick 3d models.

 ### 27. Meshy: Effortless 3D Conceptualization with Intuitive UI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like Meshy because it's got a very easy interface and is simple to navigate. The community page is great for getting inspiration since everyone can make their creations public, and you can see the textures, models, and prompts they've used. I find it doesn't take a lot of time to texture things, letting me visualize how the end product looks at a basic level. Setting it up was also very straightforward; you just create an account and try it out a few times. Plus, they offer different pricing for access to more features.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Meshy sometimes doesn't produce something called a normal map, but that's something I can make outside of Meshy. Also, it has a little problem sometimes where it combines geometry if, let's say, two hands and a body part are too close together. But if you don't create anything that has to do with characters, this is a nonissue.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Meshy to quickly bring 3D concepts to life without handcrafting them, speeding up the concept phase. It's easy to navigate with an interface that lets me texture quickly. The community page provides inspiration and resources, making it easy to replicate successful creations.

 ### 28. Best AI 3D tool for character creation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ミナミ . | クリエイター, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

The speed and quality of AI-generated 3D models is impressive. I can go from a text prompt to a fully textured character model in minutes, which makes rapid prototyping for animation projects incredibly efficient. The texture quality and consistency across generations is particularly strong for character creation.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Credit consumption can be high when iterating on complex characters, and fine-tuning specific design details sometimes requires multiple generations. More control over character proportions and facial features would be a welcome addition.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy dramatically reduces the time and cost of creating 3D character assets for animation projects. What used to require professional 3D modeling skills and hours of work can now be done in minutes, allowing solo creators to produce high-quality characters and assets independently.

 ### 29. Effortless 2D to 3D Model Conversion for Printing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lihang L. | Principal Software Engineering Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like how with just a simple few clicks, you can generate a 3D model right away using Meshy. It also provides a detector feature and a remesh rate, which I find useful. The texture feature is really easy and allows me to generate 3D models with color effortlessly with just one click, making the models very colorful. The initial setup of Meshy is pretty straightforward, and the UX is very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I hope there will be more suggestions on the model itself before sending to Bamboo Studio for 3D printing. Like maybe some hints to say, 'Hey, you need to turn on support before 3D printing' or what kind of parameters will be optimized. Or the profile can be selected automatically based on the 3D model itself.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Meshy to convert 2D images into 3D models, which simplifies 3D printing. It reduces the learning curve associated with professional software, saving time and effort, and lets me create colorful 3D models with ease.

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

Cool features, the 3d from photo works pretty good.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Unfortunately, I can’t send an enhanced prompt, such as a photo combined with text, to provide a more detailed description. In addition, the feature doesn’t work very well.

 ### 34. Meshy Turns Images into Usable 3D Models in Minutes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Design | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like that Meshy takes ideas that would normally take hours even days in traditional 3D software and turns them into usable models in a few minutes. I mainly use the image‑to‑3D feature and have had very positive, consistent results, that are easy to refine in my other tools. The interface is easy to use and it has now opened many possibilities for 3D creation.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The only thing I dislike about Meshy is the occasional lack of detail in some generations. However, in many cases, this stems from understanding what works best as suitable reference images for optimal creation results.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been after a solution to turn photos into .stl files for a while. Meshy has created a very powerful solution for creating 3D models that I can work on further in other software before the piece is manufactured.

 ### 35. Precise AI Agent That Follows Instructions Well

 ### 36. Streamlined Asset Creation Despite Shortcomings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I really like how Meshy gets most, if not all, the visual information right, especially for character designs. It's pretty surprising how well it can glean from a flat image. It's also very generous with the amount of content you can create using it, making the process of taking existing concept art and creating 3D assets a lot easier and faster.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Meshy cannot work with pixel art or voxels very well. The topology and geometry are often very muddy and 'soup-like,' so it could use more training on how to properly render from art and designs based on pixel and squared shapes. It could use timelines for video renders and adjusting speed and moment by moment narration, as it is very barebones. Also, the UI can be a tad confusing especially on mobile, so adding a simplified menu option would help along with an advanced menu for more complex tools. Despite these issues, the initial setup was fairly easy despite some UI issues when using on mobile phones.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy helps me by transforming concept art into 3D assets, making the process easier and faster. It captures visual details well, especially for character designs, and offers generous content creation capabilities.

 ### 37. Advanced Wood (CNC) hobbyist has taken my digital design capabilities to an entirely new level!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** J S E. | Hobbyist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I am a hobbyist... I'm not an artist -- and especially not a 3D artist -- and Meshy has opened a whole new world of designing and customizing projects for myself, family, and friends that I otherwise would have to outsource. I can take an image (or series of images) and create 3D models which can then be imported in 3D CNC carving projects using programs like Vectric Aspire or Lightburn. If I don't have a reference image, I can take well crafted prompts to create my image. I have also used to text to image function to create both images for output to Lightburn -- or sent off to have stickers, keychains, drink coasters etc produced customized to my needs. I have also taken images created on meshy and used as input reference image to Vectric's EasyCreate AI powered bas relief program which has netted me better results that just using the core EasyCreate functions. I plan to keep my "Pro" level plan for the foreseeable future!

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Sometimes the 3D models created from images of actual people are unusable or unrecognizable. I'm hoping over time this will improve, as AI 3D design improves. Part of this I think is how our brains perceive and recognize people we know. Part of it is the nuances of turning 2D into 3D of specific items and especially people is a difficult process.

I also wish meshy had a re-do on image generation from text like they do for their 3D models. I also wish the re-do process was interactive and iterative. I know AI in general has a hard time with this concept -- often generating WORSE results on subsequent generations of attempts. Hoping with time that this improves for Meshy specifically -- and for AI in general!

As Meshy is web-based, I occasionally get frustrated on getting my "assets" to display on the main viewer screen to make decisions on if a re-do is necessary.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a non-artist, the ability to take images, ideas and concepts and turning them in to real-world tangible models is priceless -- which can be imported and used in creating 3D wood carved models, 3D printed items, laser engraved and cut models, and images.

 ### 38. Meshy: Quick and Precise in 3D Modeling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel S. | Diretor Comercial, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like the practicality and fidelity to the object that Meshy offers. I can send a reference image or a simple prompt, and Meshy creates the .glb file in seconds, maintaining characteristics of the photo that other competing systems cannot. I found the initial setup process quite easy. The quality of the final result is much superior to what I had with Copilot.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I think the "try again" mechanism that is free is inefficient because it doesn't offer me the option to change the image or the prompt to try to "help" the system.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Meshy to quickly transform 2D objects into 3D with high fidelity, creating .glb files that retain the characteristics of the photo, something other systems cannot achieve.

 ### 39. Effortless 3D Mesh Creation with Impressive Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vjatseslav. P. | Senior iOS Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

It's a great tool for preparing 3D meshes. Whether you need a quick MVP solution or a final, polished result, it's very easy to get started and achieve impressive outcomes.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I believe there is still room for improvement when it comes to providing context. For instance, regarding 3D models, it would be helpful to separate the model from its material. Currently, the meshes are not very scalable, and you have to manually enhance them.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a beginner in game development, it can be challenging to find suitable models for your game. You often have to spend a significant amount of money on asset packs or outsourcing, which can be very expensive and isn't practical for small MVP projects. This is where meshy becomes valuable, as it allows you to create any models you imagine. You can use these models as they are or replace them later, but it certainly helps you get started more quickly and achieve tangible results sooner.

 ### 40. Revolutionized 3D Modeling for Education

I love the workflow of pasting an image or prompting it to create what I need, which feels really magical. Every time I use it, I experience an interesting and wow feeling. The 'Image to Model' feature is particularly beneficial, as any image turns into a model in no time. The initial setup was very easy, and the free credits were superb.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The thing that can be enhanced is it can add some animation aspects like adding labels. Adding a label option would be outstanding, attracting more educators. Also, when clicked on the label, it can show some details about the different parts in an educational model, which would bring a whole group of educators into it.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy drastically reduces time to create high-quality 3D models, making the process fast, intuitive, and reliable. It's ideal for educational purposes, enhancing productivity and creativity. The 'Image to Model' feature is magical, turning images into models instantly, making 3D modeling easy for non-experts.

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I really like the written prompt to 3D feature in Meshy. I use it a lot because I can type quickly and the renders are often very close to what clients are looking for. It's especially helpful when working with clients with autism and ADHD, as speed is essential to capitalize on vulnerable states of communication. The ability to quickly turn an idea into a 3D model is important. Also, the UI is very easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

There are some challenges with 3D meshes and fine details when it comes to arms, meshing, and melding into other renders.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy helps me quickly create 3D renders of client ideas, which aids in processing challenges. It's valuable for working with clients with autism and ADHD by capitalizing on communication opportunities. The written prompt to 3D feature ensures the renderings match client expectations.

 ### 43. Extraordinary for 3D Modeling

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like Meshy's AI agent for creating text to 3D. It is capable of transforming an image into a 3D model, which is incredibly useful. Additionally, the initial setup of Meshy was easy.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

No one is perfect, I would like it to be cheaper.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Meshy to create 3D models easily from text or images.

 ### 45. Meshy Makes 3D Modeling Effortless and Creator-Focused

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | IT Support Senior Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

Meshy stands out because it makes it much easier to turn an idea into a usable 3D model. Whether I begin with a text prompt or an image, I can quickly generate something workable, which is incredibly helpful for prototyping minis or assets. This process saves me a significant amount of time compared to traditional modeling methods, especially since I’m not a professional 3D artist. I also appreciate that the results are usually consistent and that it’s easy to make adjustments—small changes to the prompt actually have an impact. All in all, Meshy feels like a genuinely practical, creator-focused tool rather than just a novelty.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I would really like the option to upload a picture and include text instructions at the same time, so I can better guide the AI toward what I want. At the moment, it seems you can only use either a picture or text, but not both together. Additionally, I hope Meshy becomes more attentive to the structural requirements needed for 3D printing.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm using this to print miniatures for my DnD table.

 ### 46. Time Saver for 3D Modeling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bo M. | Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

It makes image to 3D quite surprisingly well.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

I cannot say corrective prompt in "Image to 3D". That is really a bummer. Sometimes AI model gets it very generic or "almost there" or completely wrong (expected). So for "almost there" cases would be very useful to have also corrective prompt.

Among good results, it also takes your coins for a sheer garbage it produces which can be only thrown away. I find this very unfair, because I would prefer to pay for delivered results. But if you delivering nonsense, why should I pay for that? Meshy should take coins only for accepted results.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If it gets it almost correctly, then it saves a lot of time if I want to model something.
Results, however, aren't perfect, but if you are about to sculpt stuff, then Meshy will
save you a ton of time, leaving you only mostly cleanup (again, if it gets it right).
Results are generally almost manifold and usually quite easily fixable.

Sometimes, however, it results into a plain trash.

 ### 47. Exceptional 3D Conversion Accuracy and Topology

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ludvig S. | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

The accuracy of the image-to-3D conversion, along with the remeshing and texturing features, is impressive. The topology generated is genuinely good, which sets it apart from many other software options that make similar claims but don't deliver as well.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The remesh feature tends to distort hands, especially the fingers. Additionally, the t-pose function doesn't always generate a perfect t-pose, which can be frustrating when importing models into platforms like Mixamo. However, the retry button, which allows for five attempts per model—a generous amount—usually resolves this issue after a few tries. As for the retexture feature, I haven't found it very effective based on my limited experience, so I haven't used it much.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This tool has completely transformed my workflow. In the past, I had to create models myself using concept art, but now it handles the entire process for me—and does an impressive job! It truly is a game changer.

 ### 48. Impressive 3D generations of single reference pictures.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sonny H. | VFX artist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

It’s fast compared to other AI models, and I’m really impressed with how it generates geometry that makes sense—even when it isn’t visible from just a single reference image.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The topology is often really messy, and the poly count is way higher than it should be.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For character design, it really speeds up my process by giving me a more sophisticated starting point, so I can get my sculpting workflow up to speed in no time. No more having to start from a cube. When I’m fiddling with movie making, I can also quickly generate a bunch of buildings and props to block out a scene and get the overall layout in place.

 ### 49. Effortless 2D to 3D Conversion with Meshy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Palash D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2026

I use Meshy for 3D printing and I find the way it converts 2D images into 3D models to be excellent. I like the simplified uses that make my diorama work perfect with Meshy. The text to 3D feature also stands out for me. The initial setup was very easy, and everything works alright.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

Only expensive

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy excellently converts 2D images into 3D models, simplifying my workflow. It's particularly great for diorama work and makes text-to-3D conversion straightforward.

 ### 50. I enjoy using Meshy AI. It's fast, easy to use, and creates great 3D models. Highly recommended!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ooppaa _. | Programista, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Meshy?**

I like how easy and fast it is to create high-quality 3D models. The AI saves a lot of time, and the results are consistently impressive.

**What do you dislike about Meshy?**

The only downside is that image generation costs 9 credits per image, which feels a bit expensive. Lowering the credit cost would make the platform even better.

**What problems is Meshy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Meshy saves me a lot of time on creating 3D models and graphics, allowing me to focus more on game development. As a result, I can build and finish my game much faster.
