"Meshy: Powerful, Easy 3D Modeling at an Unbeatable Price"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Amazing Software at an Unbeatable Price!**

I absolutely love using Meshy! It's honestly one of the best tools I've come across for 3D modeling and game development. The software is incredibly powerful, easy to use, and saves me so much time when creating 3D assets. Being able to turn ideas into detailed 3D models so quickly is amazing, especially when working on game projects.

One of the biggest reasons I love Meshy is the pricing. It's surprisingly affordable for how much the software can do. You get incredible features and impressive results without having to spend a fortune. It's rare to find software this good at such reasonable prices!

Meshy has made my creative process so much easier, faster, and more enjoyable. I can focus more on bringing my ideas to life instead of spending endless hours modeling everything from scratch.

I genuinely enjoy using Meshy and would highly recommend it to anyone interested in 3D modeling, game development, or bringing creative ideas to life. **Fantastic software, amazing value, and absolutely worth it!** Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Some models needed a bit of extra cleanup, but for the most part that didn’t happen very often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Image-to-3D, rigging and animation that got our game characters in-engine fast"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I turned 2D card portraits into six fully rigged and animated 3D game characters. The image-to-3D results stayed faithful to the source art, and auto-rigging plus the animation library worked very well on humanoid characters, so each one was in-engine within minutes. Pricing is easy to plan (about 30 credits for a textured model, 5 for rigging, 3 per animation) and the API let us script the whole pipeline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

You cannot preview an animation on your own character before paying for it, so choosing a gesture is partly guesswork. Exported FBX files are heavy (about 3 MB per animation), which adds up across several characters, and credits go fast when you need retries. Disclosure: I received free credits for writing this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meshy AI Speeds Up 3D Modeling with Fast, High-Quality Results"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

What I like most about Meshy is how quickly I can turn an idea or a reference image into a 3D model I can actually use. I don’t have an advanced background in 3D modeling, so being able to create assets without building everything from scratch has made a real difference in my workflow.

The interface is fairly easy to get comfortable with, and I was able to start experimenting right away without a complicated learning curve. Generations are usually fast, and I really appreciate being able to retry when something doesn’t come out the way I expected. The AI does a surprisingly good job interpreting reference images, although I sometimes need a couple of attempts to get the details where I want them.

I also like the topology options and the flexibility to keep working with the generated models in other tools. That’s especially helpful when I’m prototyping or when I need to create several assets for a project.

For me, the biggest advantage is how much time and money it saves. I can test ideas, try out different models, and still get useful results without spending hours modeling or having to hire someone for every asset. Honestly, being able to do all of that without needing much technical knowledge is what makes Meshy so useful for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

One thing I find a bit frustrating is that the AI doesn’t always nail everything on the first try. Sometimes the model looks great overall, but a few details don’t match what I had in mind, so I end up tweaking the prompt or running another generation.

It’s not a major problem, especially because Meshy lets you retry generations for free, which I genuinely appreciate. Still, when I’m working on multiple assets, those extra attempts can start to add up and break my flow a little.

I’d also really like to see more practical tips for improving results when a generation doesn’t turn out the way I expected. Clearer guidance around prompts, reference images, and common issues would be very helpful, especially for people like me who don’t have much experience with traditional 3D modeling.

Overall, these are fairly minor frustrations compared to how much time Meshy saves me, but they’re definitely areas where I think the experience could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A good foundation for game characters requiring refinement"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

We use Meshy for prototyping turn-based strategy game characters in Unity. In an experiment, we obtained two character variants from one concept, chose the best one, and transferred it through Blender to Unity. The result was significantly closer to the reference than our previous procedural model. The API/MCP is useful for automation, PBR texture generation, mesh simplification, and autorigging. After refinement, the character, along with the weapon, fit into approximately 14,000 triangles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

The model cannot be considered fully game-ready immediately after generation. After simplification, the fingers were merged, and the shoulders, elbows, and wrists required weight and deformation corrections. The back, which was not visible in the original image, turned out to be less detailed. The textures retained drawn highlights, and the materials had to be adjusted for Unity lighting. It would be helpful to see clearer differences in cost and available operations in the web interface and API. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meshy Turned My Imagination Into a New Hobby!"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

made a change

When I made my first model I was blown away with what meshy returned. So much so I instantly subscribed and since upgraded. What I really like about Meshy is being able to take an idea in my head and turn it into an actual 3D model. I've been making fantasy characters and D&D miniatures, and it's pretty amazing to see what the program can do with just an image. I'm still learning how everything works, but I've already made some figures I'm really happy with. It's a lot easier than trying to learn complicated 3D modeling software from scratch, and honestly, I'm having fun with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

The biggest downside for me so far is the learning curve. Meshy can do a lot, but sometimes figuring out where things are or how certain features work takes a little trial and error. I've had to spend some time learning the interface and figuring out the different options. I'd also like to see clearer explanations of some of the settings, especially for someone who's fairly new to 3D modeling. None of this has stopped me from enjoying the program, though. I'm still learning, and the results have definitely made it worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Powerful and Easy-to-Use AI Tool for 3D Model Creation"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

Meshy offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface that makes creating 3D models with AI simple and efficient. Its AI generates detailed models quickly, helping save time and improve productivity. The available integrations and export options make it easier to incorporate models into different workflows. The pricing can be worthwhile for users who regularly create 3D assets, although it depends on usage needs. The platform is relatively easy to get started with, and clearer onboarding resources and responsive support can make the experience even better. Overall, Meshy is a powerful and accessible AI tool for accelerating 3D modelling and bringing creative ideas to life. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Although Meshy is a useful AI tool, the quality of the generated 3D models can sometimes be inconsistent, and some results require manual editing. Complex prompts do not always produce the expected details, and processing times can vary. The pricing and credit limits may also be restrictive for users who generate models frequently. Additionally, more advanced editing tools, better integrations with other 3D software, and clearer onboarding resources would improve the overall experience. "Packed with features for all creative artists and easy to use"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

It can generate almost anything and edit just about anything, and it consistently gives me accurate results based on my prompts. Overall, it produces content quickly and feels responsive to use. Exporting models into different formats is straightforward, and I’ve been able to use those exports in most 3D modeling software, including integrating them with Blender. The pricing feels very fair for what’s included, and the clear help and hints make it easier to learn the tool and start using new features with confidence. Its AI is also sufficiently smart. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

A lot more animations for rigs should be added, and it would be great to include animations for other non-humanoid models as well, like horses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Meshy Delivers Detailed AI 3D Models Fast with an Intuitive, Beginner-Friendly Workflow"
5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

What I like most about Meshy is its ability to generate highly detailed and precise 3D models using AI. The interface is intuitive and beginner-friendly, making it easy to turn creative ideas into 3D assets without spending hours modeling everything manually. The AI-powered text-to-3D and image-to-3D features are particularly impressive, allowing for rapid prototyping and experimentation. Meshy significantly speeds up the modeling workflow while maintaining impressive visual quality, making it especially valuable for game development, animation, and creative projects. The ability to export models for use in other 3D software also makes it a versatile and efficient tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

Although Meshy is a powerful tool, some AI-generated models still require manual adjustments to achieve the exact geometry or topology needed for more complex projects. Generation results can occasionally vary depending on the prompt, and additional refinements may be necessary. More control over specific modeling details and continued improvements to generation consistency would make the experience even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cinematic-Ready Characters Fast: Strong Text-to-3D, Auto-Rigging, and Animation Library"
4/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

I make cinematic battle videos in Blender, and Meshy has let me build a full cast of original characters without needing a modeling team. The Text-to-3D feature produces usable, well-textured models in just a couple of minutes from a detailed prompt, and the results track the prompt closely—colors, horns, armor, and weapons all come through as expected.

For me, the biggest win is the combination of auto-rigging and the animation library. I generated a horde of five different daemon types, each with run, walk, attack, and death clips, then dropped them straight into Blender as FBX to populate a 170-creature battle scene. The API and automation support also let me batch-generate and download assets as part of a scripted pipeline, which saved me hours. Overall, the credit cost per asset feels very reasonable for what you get. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

There are a few rough edges in the pipeline. Rest poses and bone orientations aren’t consistent across rigged models, so when I tried retargeting Meshy animations onto my own custom character rig, the result was distorted and I ended up falling back to that character’s original rig. On top of that, animated FBX exports place root motion on the armature object itself, which I had to strip out before I could properly place characters in a scene. The models also arrive fairly dense, so I needed to decimate them for crowd shots. Visually, some textures can read a bit glassy or crystalline when viewed up close. Finally, rigging and animation jobs are harder to track after the fact than other task types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick, inexpensive image-to-3D for indie game characters"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Meshy?

Meshy is the tool that I use on the Pro plan to make 3D character models for NPCs in a life simulation game that I'm developing using Godot. The best feature of all is the Image to 3D one – I just upload an image of the full-body character that I need and get the 3D model in a few minutes, which is much faster than modeling by hand. Auto-rigging and pre-made animations are also quite useful, as I don't have to rig the characters myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Meshy?

There are a number of functions and features within Meshy and when using it for the first time, it was difficult to understand which were necessary. There is no clear explanation of many features within the software and I had to learn everything through trial and error. A set of guidelines or more explanations on the interface could be of great help. It would also be great to have a direct option of exporting in MMD format (PMX).
