It is easy to setup and send emails. It is a chrome extension which we can connect with google sheet. It will pick data from the cells and send emails to people. Have a tracking feature which helps to understand who opened clicked the emails. Can create followup sequences which reduce worklod. If you're looking for a simple solution to send emails this is a good option. **What do you dislike about Mergo?** As it is connected directly with google workspace If you try to mail multiple people you'll get blacklisted easily. It is better for small outreach like maximum 50 per day. Have certain analytics limitation as well. This is one among the best mail merge extension I've tried and price is also affordable and decent. Eliminates manually sending emails for a same template to a list of people. I can send personalised emails, schedule emails and can even track them. **What do you dislike about Mergo?** Sometimes, I find that the emails will directly go into spam. And this is not often this happens may be for 1-2 mails among 100 mails. **What problems is Mergo solving and how is that benefiting you?** While sending emails to company officials for collaborations, it is very time-consuming for us to send emails one by one, but by using Mergo, we can send bulk and personalised emails to the company and track them. Useful but flawed. It's handy if you don't need to send any more than ~1500 emails per day and want to keep track of opens, bounces, unsubs, etc.. **What do you dislike about Mergo?** Their google marketplace page is flooded with fake reviews, so it's hard to judge them before buying. There's a significant flaw with resetting people who've unsubscribed. After removing someone from the unsubscribed list, if you open that sheet's tracking report, the person will be added back to the unsubscribed list. If you don't have many sheets to search through, you can manually find the contact and edit/remove their entry. But if you have many sheets it would be very tedious, if not impossible, to find and edit them. The unsubscribe button is also super easy to misclick because it looks like "small linked text" surrounded by a bunch of whitespace, but it's actually a large invisible bar that spans the full width of the page. Deliverability: When I first tried this app some years ago, I had open rates of around 70%. With other popular email clients like Convertkit, Mailerlite, Getresponse, and SendPulse, I get 50-70% open rates. I'm sending the same emails to the same recipients. More recently, my Mergo open rates dropped to as low as 20%, and support seemed to have no clue. When I asked for a refund (I just bought it two weeks ago and had to drop my sending to 50/day due to the poor open rates) due to the poor open rates and unsubscribe glitch, they've ignored me. **What problems is Mergo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Responding to hundreds of thousands of people who contact us via a form on our website. ### 17.
