What I like best about MedTrainer is that it gives us one centralized place to manage provider credentialing, documents, licenses, expirations, and required verifications. It has made it much easier to stay organized while managing a large number of providers across multiple states. I especially appreciate the ability to track credentialing requirements and quickly see what is complete, what is expiring, and what still needs attention. One downside of MedTrainer is that some parts of the platform can feel a little cumbersome when managing a large volume of providers. Certain workflows require multiple steps, and it is not always easy to quickly locate the information or reporting you need.

I wouldn’t say there is anything I particularly dislike about MedTrainer, but there are a few enhancements that would make the platform even more useful for us. A 360-degree integration with our HRIS platform would be very beneficial and help streamline our processes. While the site itself is fairly easy to navigate, I would also appreciate a simpler, more intuitive way to create and run reports. Additionally, having an easier way to build our own training content—especially with an AI-assisted tool to help create and develop trainings—would be a valuable feature. Everything. This by far has been the worst experience in a system implementation. The system does not customize to the needs of the organization. It's a one shoe fits all, and that is not the case for all organizations. If trainings have expired, you are not able to set a new due date, you have to re-issue the trainings even when it impacts your whole staff. This is one problem of the many we have encountered. 1/10. I love that I can assign my staff education that they need to complete for compliance, and I love that I can also assign them policies that need to be reviewed and signed on a yearly basis. It takes the hassle out of having to track down people to get them to sign a paper copy. We also use it to track our expiration dates on medications and supplies, which it isn't intended for but it works for us and allows us to save on having another program to track those things. I do wish they had a better tracking program to track expiration dates of supplies and medications. Again I realize it wasn't built or intended for this use, and we have been able to make it suit our needs, but I think this would be another great option to integrate into your platform. Previously we had used accurate accreditation, which was a great program for tracking of expiration dates, but didn't offer us the other things that MedTrainer does.
