What problems is MechWorks PDM solving and how is that benefiting you? UI hasn't been updated since the 90s. Looks and feels like Windows 95 app. All functions are painfully slow, it is not user friendly. No real options for remote work. Data migration is a pain. Need to have a background in IT to administer the platform (requires a lot of back-end fiddling). Not well represented online by forums, etc. Looks and feels like the platform is a patchwork of add-ons. SIGNIFICANT effort required for onboarding. Heavily constrains work practices - benefit for some industries, but severly limiting for ours since we mainly do ground-up design/builds. Benefits include things you would expect from traditional PDMs: Provides most functions that Solidworks PDM provides (just doesn't work or flow as well). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
