## Material Reviews
  ### 1. I used material for Front End it is very good experience you got lot of nice things out of the box.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akash T. | Software Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

You get a lot of the things out of the box like shadows on the elements and helps to build a very clean and nice-looking UI.
compare to other competitors like bootstrap it helps to create a different feel in UI.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

The most dislikable thing is that all the apps you design looks like Google apps.
This can be better if the developer can design the components just like tailwind css.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is better for designing good-looking apps really fast and without investing a lot of time in thinking about how your app should look like you just focus on the functionality

  ### 2. Google css icons for development

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prashad D. | Developer , Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2023

**What do you like best about Material?**

Fast and attractive, Beautiful , with link provided icons and font styles from Google material .whery good for especially web development in css and bootstra .
I am always used this icons for development .It also provides fonts , icons with colour at free of cost it is best thing of it

**What do you dislike about Material?**

They should give more attractive icons with colour so that images become more attractive . Otherwise it is good for their links

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firstly I have to read its documentation briefly and then start to do working .
It is very simple to use and by just copying url of icon it will be appearing on web page .One more thing is that this is without ads service hence I always used this for my css, bootstrap

  ### 3. My personal favorite UI tool kit

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darshan D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Material?**

-Nice and clean designs backed by solid UI/UX theory which makes user interaction smoother
-Supports almost every frontend designing libraries
-Backed by Google
-Minimalistic designs

**What do you dislike about Material?**

-Off the top of my head I think Material UI is oversimplified.
-It could use some more fancy design elements
-Optimization can be a bit tricky

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-Material UI provides out-of-the-box components that can be directly used in any product, whether mobile app or website. It helps us save development time tremendously and looks very minimalistic and clean. Due to its simple design it goes along with most of the branding stuff.

  ### 4. The best style framework

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** F. Javier P. | Mobile Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2023

**What do you like best about Material?**

For me, it's the go-to design system. It has all the components built-in to create an awesome looking app or web. Those components have a lot of work behind to look crisp and clean.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

Sometimes, Google pushes it too hard, and there are some apps created by Google itself that doesn't follow their own guidelines.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Material gives a starting framework for your UI components. It's throrougly tested by Google itself, and each of its iterations (right now, we are on the third one), surpasses the last one

  ### 5. Overall it was a good experience.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Material?**

cross platform compatibility, customizability, easy usability and accessibility.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

design uniqueness is not there and complexity.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

branding and identity, engagement and interaction, cross platform compatibility.

  ### 6. Fairly easy and simple but room for improvement.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shreyansh S. | Intern - Product Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

I liked that Material UI is fairly simple and the UI components have a natural fluidity to them. The transitions provided are really appreciable and the fonts are really simple and elegant. It looks really amazing in dark mode too. And on top of that, it has really impressive documentation. The support from the community and Google is equally remarkable.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

On occasions, it can be overly simple and lacks modern aesthetics like Gaussian blur for iOS and other custom OS distributions. The animations on the heavy side are not suited for low-featured mobile devices and can be too distracting on occasions, if overused. The latest iteration, Material You, has a below-par wallpaper based colour selection and chooses really unappealing shades.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Material UI for developing responsive web applications using ReactJS with the Material UI library. Material UI precisely follows the Material Design.

This has helped in creating UI elements without spending a lot of time designing the UI elements and writing custom CSS code which on most occasions feels like grunt work.

  ### 7. SImple and elegant, but not that modern

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishaan M. | Web Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

* Simple and unobtrusive, with extremely fluid animations for all the UI components, whether in native mobile apps or web apps.
* Responsive
* Looks equally good, if not better, in dark mode.
* Perfect placement of shadows under elements, simple fonts, nice transitions.
* Great documentation and support from the community and Google.
* Many UI libraries like Material UI, Vuetify etc for almost all popular frameworks.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

* Overly simple, does not incorporate modern aesthetics like Gaussian blur etc as in iOS and other custom OS distributions.
* Latest iteration, named Material You, has very poor automatic accent color selection based on the wallpaper, which chooses very ugly shades, which are also imposed in different apps that follow material design.
* Heavy animations are sometimes not suited for low-power mobile devices, and can often become distractive if overused.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I develop responsive web applications or PWAs using ReactJS with MUi library, or VueJS with Vuetify. Both MUi and Veutify strictly follow Material Design.
This helps in creating responsive and fluid UIs without spending so much time designing the UI elements and writing custom CSS code for thr same.

  ### 8. Material is an awesome UI tool that has helped me create applications faster.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ansh G. | Software Engineerq, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

Material has helped me save a lot of time while creating the frontend for various applications, thanks to the ready-made components it offers. The components that it provides are very attractive and beautiful and very similar to modern-day application designs that we can use in our application either full or parts as well.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

Learning the names of the components to use in the application is a hard part as you will need to work on some projects to remember the name of the components and use them smoothly in your projects then.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had made a shopping portal using Material in the frontend which came out to be very beautiful saving me a lot of time using the ready-made components it provides.

  ### 9. Application Building become more simplified

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shobhit V. | Senior Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

Material has been providing best user experience to its users, which is one the best thing. and we love to use its open source system design plateform for getting better enhanced solutions.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

Well, there's no such high priority caches, and I never observed anything to put it a off mark on application.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Application building is major section where I'm using this Ui

  ### 10. Material is an awesome tool that has helped me create frontend applications very smoothly.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ansh G. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2022

**What do you like best about Material?**

I have used Material in many of my applications and the components that materail provide are easy to use and add in our projects due to the resuability of the components. Moreover, the UI created using Material is very attractive and modern.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

You still need prior knowledge of frontend to work with Material and hence knowing frontend is a prerequisite of Material. Also, one needs to work thoroughly on Material to be familiar with the components and their names.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped me create beautiful applications that I have made using material technology in the front-end. Designing everything from scratch is no more required with Material.

  ### 11. A great library for all things mobile and desktop

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2020

**What do you like best about Material?**

It plays nice with both mobile and desktop front-ends. It has great React support as well as TypeScript definitions.

**What do you dislike about Material?**

The grid pattern can leave a bit to be desired, especially when compared with Bootstrap. Also, the theme API can be a bit opinionated and hard to manage, but it works OK all in all.

**Recommendations to others considering Material:**

It's a great alternative to Bootstrap, especially if you like the Google ecosystem look. Great animations for buttons as well.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building front-end solutions for both mobile and desktop applications, in a manner that can make them not only easy to maintain but also reusable across different components and repositories.

  ### 12. An essential tool for any Android Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joshua R. | IT Project Manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 09, 2019

**What do you like best about Material?**

If you follow the Material Design guidelines your app will always look like it was made by an experienced professional. So it's not only essential for developers but for designers as wel..

**What do you dislike about Material?**

Not so much a dislike, but sometimes it's hard to find what you're looking for when you have countless elements to discover.

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Everything I need to know about how an Android app should look like is there.

  ### 13. The new era of design

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

I am a UI Developer, I am using material design since last 2 years, it gives very simple and easy integration of design patterns, it has its own packages it helps me to explore more

**What do you dislike about Material?**

There are some things that I have not yet get i.e. some classes are hard to find and memorise also customization is very difficult in some cases

**What problems is Material solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integration with angular it makes sense rather than using any other 3rd party library, it gives all modules as we need very easily
