# What are the most common enterprise use cases for Marketo LaunchPoint apps?

<p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Hey G2 marketing ops reviewers and researchers. What are the most common enterprise use cases for Marketo LaunchPoint apps, the reasons a large team actually adds a partner app to Marketo Engage instead of building inside it?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Trying to pin this down properly, because the category description reads like a feature list and the real answer is narrower. Enterprises don't add apps to Marketo for things Marketo already does. They add them where Marketo stops: at the edge of the Adobe stack, at the point where too many people need to build campaigns, and at channels the platform doesn't own. Reading the<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/marketo-launchpoint-apps"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/categories/marketo-launchpoint-apps">Marketo LaunchPoint Apps</a> category on G2 that way, the use cases sort into four, each with the app that defines it:</p><ul>
<li>
<strong>Governed self-service at scale.</strong> The most common reason in the category by review count.<a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/jeto/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/jeto/reviews"><strong>Jeto</strong></a> (Rated 4.7/5): turns campaign requests from field marketers into complete Marketo programs with brand and input guardrails, so a central MOps team stops being the bottleneck. Trade-off: from $1,250 a month, so it needs a request volume to justify it.</li>
<li>
<strong>Getting commerce data into Marketo.</strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/grazitti-interactive-maginate/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/grazitti-interactive-maginate/reviews"><strong>Maginate</strong></a> (Rated 5.0/5) syncs Magento customers, orders and abandoned carts into Marketo custom objects, since the two Adobe products have no native link. All its G2 reviewers are at large companies. Trade-off: Magento only.</li>
<li>
<strong>Identity and consent upstream of marketing.</strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/gigya-customer-identity-management-platform/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/gigya-customer-identity-management-platform/reviews"><strong>Gigya</strong></a> by SAP (Rated 3.8/5) handles registration, login and consent across channels so Marketo receives one profile per person with permissions attached. Trade-off: a platform purchase, and the lowest-rated listing here.</li>
<li>
<strong>Getting Marketo data out.</strong><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/progress-software-progress-datadirect/reviews"> </a><a class="a a--md" elv="true" href="https://www.g2.com/products/progress-software-progress-datadirect/reviews"><strong>Progress DataDirect</strong></a> (Rated 4.7/5) gives BI and warehouse tools standard drivers into Marketo, which is how enterprises build reporting Marketo's own analytics won't. Trade-off: connectivity, not transformation.</li>
</ul><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">A fifth, smaller group is channel extension: two-way SMS from Engage Australia, video from J-Stream, RSS-to-email from Digesto. Real use cases, but none has G2 reviews yet.</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true">Which of these four is more hype than substance in your experience, and which one quietly does the most work in an enterprise Marketo instance?</p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p><p class="elv-tracking-normal elv-text-default elv-font-figtree elv-text-base elv-leading-base elv-font-normal" elv="true"></p>

&lt;p&gt;Jeto’s use case feels like the one that becomes obvious only after Marketo is already successful. Once dozens of field marketers depend on a small MOps team to launch campaigns, the bottleneck isn’t Marketo’s capability anymore. It’s how many requests that team can safely process without giving everyone full access.&lt;/p&gt;
