## About Toast
🌟 Solving the Tab Dilemma: Toast emerged to solve the issue of valuable yet temporarily unnecessary tabs cluttering browsers. We envisioned a solution where users could save these tabs without overwhelming their browsing. Experience seamless tab access across browsers and even on our iPhone app, ensuring a consistent experience everywhere. Organize tabs into folders for efficient project and topic management. ✅ Key features: • Save a single tab for later • Save all open tabs in a browser window with a few clicks • Manage saved tabs in folders categorized by topics, researchers, or projects • Restore tabs individually or all at once with a single click • Synchronize saved tabs across different browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Edge) • Real-time synchronization of open tabs in a browser • Share and collaborate on saved tabs 🔗 Common Use Cases: • Save Quora, StackOverflow, YouTube findings, and more for future reference. • Effortlessly organize Google Docs, Drive files by clients or topics. • Hassle-free saving of research for projects, degrees, or market studies. • Collect design, photo, code examples to share via a single link. • Enhance focus by closing entire windows for different tasks. • Prepare efficiently by opening multiple links in one click. • Seamlessly move tabs across browsers, all at once. 🧠 Our Journey & Insights: Since 2019, we’ve been meticulously crafting Toast, launching four major releases and earning the “Product of the Day” award on ProductHunt. Throughout development, we learned the power of simplicity. Toast’s native, minimalistic design ensures effortless tab management while offering robust functionality across various browsers. 🌐 Overcoming Challenges: Our journey included overcoming the challenge of providing seamless cross-platform support. This led Toast to become the most versatile tab-saving solution. Additionally, with cloud storage, all Toast data is securely stored, ensuring user data backup. Unlike other tab managers, Toast prevents data loss even if the extension is accidentally deleted or reinstalled. 🔥 Join thousands experiencing a clutter-free browsing! 🔥

**What do you like best about Toast?**

- It works everywhere. I mean everywhere. It supports pretty much any
browser out there, even Safari (which I use). Additionally it has a web
interface that you can access from phone, in case you're on the go.
- Quality of the product is exceptional, I've never had any issues with it
- Support seems to be great and happy to hear your ideas and suggestions.
- It's minimalistic, unlike its competitors. It doesn't replace my new tab page,
but just lives in a small popup.
- Shortcuts are great and in general I like the UX, it works pretty much the
way you'd expect it
- Unlike competitors they don't sell my data (guys, read privacy policy
sometimes of the tools you use)

**What do you dislike about Toast?**

- It requires an account, but I understand why so, the sync & sharing
functionality it provides can't be made otherwise
- It's freemium

**What problems is Toast solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- I work usually with multiple projects. Before Toast I had a window per
project. So when I'm working on one project I need to minimize/hide other
projects into dock. Then when I was navigating between windows, the
minimized ones always popped out. So it was really hard to focus on one
thing as others are always popping out. And you know, if it's chrome, it would
eat all of the computer resources to have all those windows open. Now with
Toast I can simply save and close the windows I don't need now. So I can
focus on one project at a time. Then I can quickly open the entire window for
the other project when I'm done with the current one.
- Saving a research. Find a bunch of links and save them in a second. Than if
needed I can also share it with client via link.
- Also I use it as a reading list. I have a session where I drop some interesting
topics to read. For an unknown reason I tend to actually read things in there,
which I wasn't doing with Pocket or Safari reading list.
- Sometimes I need to transfer tabs from Safari to Chrome, as Chrome has
more functionality and extensions. That's just 3 clicks no matter how many
tabs are there.
