"Reliable and Easy-to-Use Email Delivery Platform"
5/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

Mailgun is a reliable email delivery platform that makes it easy to send both transactional and marketing emails. I appreciate its developer-friendly features, straightforward integration, and the helpful analytics that let me track email performance. Overall, it feels like a solid option for businesses that need dependable email delivery along with clear monitoring and visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

What I dislike about Mailgun is that some of its more advanced features and settings can take a while to understand, especially for new users. The pricing can also feel a bit complicated, depending on the volume of emails being sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Email Delivery, Limited Data Retention"
3/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

Mailgun saves us the hassle of dealing with email servers and the minutia of email distribution. I like that it retries temporary failures, suppresses addresses that are known to fail, and provides delivery, open, and click metrics that we can show our clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

I find Mailgun's log retention limited to 30 days, so I can't get much historical data; it would be good to have at least a year's worth. We've had issues with our domains being blocked, and it would help to get a warning before that happens. I've also heard from other departments that billing can be hard to understand. I wasn't involved in setup, but I know it took a bit of development effort, though I don't know how extensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Stable, and Just Works"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

I like its simplicity, and of course the stability of the service. It just works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

Pricing could be a little lower. Especially for small businesses. I do not send more than 4-8K Mails per month and pay almost 20 $. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Mailgun?

Reliability, scalability, and ease of integration stand out. The API is straightforward, the documentation is clear, and managing high-volume transactional emails feels simple and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

The dashboard could be more intuitive, especially when I’m troubleshooting delivery issues or managing multiple domains at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Email Automation with Top-Notch Deliverability"
4/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

I use Mailgun for all our automated reports, welcome invites to users, and even password reset emails. What I like most about Mailgun is its simplicity. Their deliverability is incredible, especially when compared to our other more marketing-based email system. The initial setup was very easy and it's built for easy development. Mailgun handles all of these emails for us, so we don't have to manually manage them. The logs are also incredibly well done, making it easy to go back and find any issues with why emails aren’t being sent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

Not much. I'm being nitpicky here, but when you're on a large monitor, and you want to add filters to your logs that you're looking through, because the filters show on the far right, it's just a little weird to me. Like I look at the left, click the filter button, to have them show on the right. Not that bad, like I said, being nitpicky Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Setup, Flexible SDKs, and a Rich Email Tracking Dashboard"
5/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

Very easy to set up, with a variety of SDKs to integrate into my codebase. It also has a rich dashboard for tracking emails and creating custom HTML templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

Pricing and feature limits can become confusing as usage scales, and some advanced configurations have a learning curve for new users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Setup with CloudFlare Integration and Clear Deliverability Insights"
5/5
What do you like best about Mailgun?

It is very easy to setup, they build quite simple step by step interface for that, even have integration with CloudFlare to add DNS records automatically. Deliverability graph is done simple and nicely, shows failed emails right away as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Mailgun?

One time integration with CloudFlare didn't work for some reason, it said try in couple minutes again but was down at least for an hour so I had to manually add records. Otherwise everything was fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
