Simple to use, accessible, and a truly top-notch customer service!

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

Editor not very flexible or practical (but we are currently using the "Classic" version). Can't wait to test the new editor! On the GDPR side, I would have appreciated more features.

**What problems is MailerLite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can send hundreds of emails each month and ensure they are properly delivered. It's also very easy to synchronize MailerLite contacts with our other tools thanks to the API. A beautiful synergy is possible between marketing and commerce thanks to MailerLite!

Their affordability. I love that they have a growing business option. Their CX team is very easy to get intouch via the app. The landing page was very easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

I don't know yet! I need more time to figure that out.

**What problems is MailerLite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to make a website fast but wix.com and other avenues are expensive.  I really just needed a landing page. I love that I can use email marketing though. Not at that stage yet.

MailerLite is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and create professional campaigns. Its seamless integration with other tools adds to the overall convenience.

The different membership levels and the fact that you can switch between them is super useful.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

There is a free plan which can be used by small businesses with just a few subscribers. But even with the free plan, MailerLite offers great functionality - with the only limit that the MailerLite logo will appear in your newsletters. That's great!

Additionally, the support team does a real good job. Of course, using the free plan, support is just included for the first weeks. But questions regarding the account are kindly answered - even after this start-up phase. 

So, I am happy with MailerLite and would recommend it.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

There are just 2 tiny points:

1.) If you offer different lead magnets on your website, you can just link to the same "thank you" and "okay" page. So, you cannot refer to your freebies on these pages, but instead just add a very common text which applies to all of your freebies.

2.) Some features are a bit hard to find in the GUI and could be a bit more intuitive.

Creating a subscriber list and sometimes sending newsletters to them - without paying a fortune every month.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

It is very easy to use. It's cheap when you're just starting up your business, so you don't have to worry about additional monthly costs up to 1000 contacts. That's one of the things I appreciate a lot. I am very happy to be able to use it. I am a web designer and I recommend it to my clients.  I would definitely not change. They have amazing support. Mails have excellent deliverability. Simple connection to the web using API. The ability to create templates that you use repeatedly. My clients and I use ML practically every day.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

On the contrary, I'm a little annoyed that the price has gone up a lot for the new version, but I understand. I am very satisfied, so I have no reason to change it.

Thanks to mailerlite, we can deliver emails and build sales funnels easily, because emails are an important part of sales funnels.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

I was stressing about the migration of mailerlite classic to mailer lite. I am not a very techy person. The migration was relatively straight forward, with lots of how to guides and lots of simple steps broken down into bite size chunks.
I chose to start using a form for email collection. When I user tested, it did not work. The customer support was excellent. Prompt response. Quick identification of where I had gone wrong, and simple solution to how I could fix it - with clear screen shots and arrows so I could learn and fix it myself. Just what I needed. I have used the help desk twice in three days, for small bugs (all my error) and they have been brilliant each time. 
The updated mailer lite system is so much easier to use. I have no idea why I was so stressed about it all. Great system, easiest I have used so far.
I feel it will be easy to integrate mailer lite with my course system that I use, and the number of features on the FREE plan is just perfect for me at the moment whilst I grow my business.

The only downside was the uneccesary self imposed stress about migrating from classic to the new lite system

In genral, the product works great! I switched from MailChimp for a cost savings, but was very happy to not lose  and features, and actually has more features.

But this review is about the great customer service I received in working with a touchy DNS updated needed to verify our domain on MailerLite.

The response was fast (Hours not days), they asked for a screen shot of my DNS entries and quickly devised a solution.

As a software compay, I really like to see other in our industry that excel in good customer services.

We recommend MailerLite to our customers that are looking for a Newsletter solution and anyone else we encounter that is looking.

All of the functionality and then some of Constant Contact, for much less per month. Overall a better value, and it  Customer support is responsive and thorough. It will also warn you when you get close to the next pricing tier.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

Easy to impliment and integrate with APIs. The interface is very intuitive - it's easy to see what you need to do and how automations and subscriber lists interact. It's incredibly easy to use, even if you aren't familiar with how lists and automation work. Plus, customer support is fast and helpful. I'll admit, I'm still fairly new, but I was able to get four lists up and running in a week with only minimal customer support questions. There are a lot of other features to unlock, and I'm looking forward to learning.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

Almost nothing! They're fantastic. If I had to say one thing, and let me say first this is totally fair of them as a company but it still doesn't work very well for new potential customers, is there is  no email support unless you go to a paid plan. As I said, fair, and I understand, but if you get stuck and can't move forward with the knowledge base (or wildly searching a multitude of videos) then you need to upgrade. But the price is right for new business, so I was in. Don't regret it!

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

For a novice to email collection, embedded forms and landing page surveys Mailerlite has been invaluable in building my business and updating my growing email list. The support when trying to add a survey to harvest customer problems has been so useful. Although my knowledge is limited I felt able to make the changes needed to improve the function of all of the above without feeling clueless. The support team are patient and work with you to solve problems. Great job Mailerlite!

The function of the quiz wasn't as clear as I thought it would be, however once I understood the limitations I was able to make changes effectively.

**What problems is MailerLite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mailer lite helps me to automate a chain of emails from an embedded leader magnet request which I use to promote my business and services. I don't have much technical experience in how to build or even embed an external form into my website but I found it to be much easier than I had anticipated with Mailerlites instruction.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

I like the customer service! even before the amazing product itself!  Customer Service is very, very difficult to find, see, receive in today's world.  Sad, but true.  When Customer Service is present, it STANDS OUT! MailerLite's email help is incredibly fast (not within a business day or 24 hours later, no.  And, personable, NOT an A.I.  Typically, email help is perceived as impersonal and a company's lazy way to provide Customer Service.  As MailerLite is international, it makes sense and, again, surprisingly quick.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

Truthfully, I don't dislike anything about this company's service.  I left Mail Chimp years ago because of the interface -- incredibly UN-intuitive in my perspective.

Business problems?  MailerLite is helping me reach clients and interested parties via email; I suppose that could be a "problem" solver.

The mail editing interface is not the simplest, it could be more user-friendly, and there could be more simple formatting options.

Very easy and user-friendly mailing list provider with lots of helpful videos to create lovely newsletters. Excellent customer service support. I also really like all the stats that I get about who has clicked on links and opened my emails.

I can't really think of anything I dislike.

Mailerlite is on top of industry changes, for example there was a recent change to certain email providers which could create issues for my subscribers getting my newsletters. Mailerlite sent an email to let me know about this, with clear instruction of what to do. Also, the customer service support help emails were so helpful and quick to respond. It took all the stress out of this technical change for me.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

Easy to use and user friendly. It is relatively intuitive in terms of putting your email campaigns together, either from scratch with an easy o use drag and drop system or a choice of many pre-designed but editable templates. When you have a question or run into a challenge with use, their customer service is prmpt and knowledgable with solutions in the moment instead of having to escalate, which I love. Quick, efficient and friendly service!

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

I don't like not being able to combine blocks in the drag and drop email builder. Sometimes I want to be able to add just a photo with text below or a different style of divider. Being able to combine various blocks into your own containers would be fantastic.

**What problems is MailerLite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I quick, intuative platofmr for email. marketing that has some additional features available such as landing pages. Integrations with various automation platforms like Zapier and integromat (Make) and tracking functionalities and reporting - all in one space to help keep the efforts streamlined.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

- Very friendly customer support, available quickly at all times of the day (on the Advanced plan).
- Good interface and UX.
- Easy migration and integration.
- More affordable than many other providers.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

Unfortunately, migrating to MailerLite from Campaign Monitor has had a dreadful impact on both our email traffic and mailing list. 

The first problems occurred shortly after migration, when an email list of nearly 25,000 subscribers was obliterated overnight by deliverability issues. An open rate in the 30-40% range in Campaign Monitor plummeted to under 4%.  MailerLite's support team were attentive and friendly as always, but their advice was generic and fixes slow. It took weeks before we started coming back up, and nearly four months later we're still not there.

The technical problems don't end there though:

- We've had to give up on using our custom domain because it no longer works with a certain large UK ISP. This is a problem that only started for us when we started using MailerLite. We never had this problem using Campaign Monitor. There is apparently no possibility of a fix, we just have to live with it.

- Campaigns often send very, very slowly. For example, we queued up our last MailerLite email for 3pm. It's now 6:19pm and it's still only 55% sent. Our niche is very competitive with lots of short-notice product announcements...since moving to MailerLite we are regularly hours behind our rivals.

- We've had several campaigns suffer very high levels of 'hard' bounces, esp. to Hotmail/Outlook. We're talking 1000+ subscribers bouncing at a time. To add insult to injury, when we asked for the bounced subscribers to be recovered MailerLite said they would do so...but seemingly forgot to, and had to be asked again.

- The final problem (and this is what has led us to leave MailerLite and sacrifice our annual contract) has been an infuriating and embarrassing technical issue whereby our campaigns were getting 'stuck' when sending, resulting in subscribers getting the same email multiple times on the same day. We're talking customers receiving the same campaign four, five, six times in a matter of hours here. When we reported this problem MailerLite assured us they had put a fix in place, so we duly reported back to the customers who'd complained to us and promised them it wouldn't happen again. Only for it to immediately happen again, very same day. Needless to say, this not only makes us look like total idiots but has also led to lost subscribers, lost sales, and lost reputation.

On top of all this, MailerLite are famously obstructive if you ask for any kind of refund. I gave up chasing after the last request because it was taking so long to get responses. Their reluctance to dish out refunds on monthly contracts is understandable, but we - stupidly - opted for an annual contract. 

So if, for whatever reason, you still feel like giving them a go after reading this review, be aware that any faith and trust you place in them by agreeing an annual contract will not be reciprocated in the event of things going wrong. They will keep your money no matter how bad the service you receive ends up to be.

In all honesty, MailerLite isn't solving any business problems for us at the moment. It is creating them.

It's easy to use and has all the elements I need. The email support and the video tutorials are great. It integrates easily with other platforms that I use (primarily Thrivecart).

I don't love that they updated to a new version and that it requires a complete migration vs a more simple update. I'm going to lose all my info in the Classic version because they are also discontinuing the free version so I can keep it as an archive.
The new version is good though.

Easeful way to reach customers. I can create forms to allow opt outs to certain campaigns. It integrates with my shopping cart and course builder so I can easily communicate with specific customers / groups.

The customer service is fast, friendly and just brilliant. The only online chat model where i feel the staff are still going the extra mile.

I love the way you can make a good looking email with your drag and drop editor as opposed to other platforms we've used, you need to be a HTML whiz to make anything that looks professional.

I use almost daily and find that the layout of drafts/outbox/in progress makes it very easy to manage.

There are small glitches which as a regular member, you learn to work around but they have gotten me into bother before.

The HTML importing tool often wont work for me but doesnt give reasons for the errors which would be very helpful to save the customer service team looking into it.

As an app that provides advertising for industry manufacturers, they can send us their email content and we can upload it to send to our mailing list. Its important that we have a smooth provider to allow us easy and fast upload of content.

I'm sort of tech-savvy, but whenever I run into something I can muddle my way through, I always get excellent help from the MailerLite team. They're responsive, professional, and knowledgeable. There are a lot of email service providers, and I've used 4 of them, but I always recommend MailerLite.

This hasn't happened in a while, but when I was over my subscriber limit my email wouldn't send. Getting a text notification would have been helpful, instead of finding out a scheduled email didn't go out. It's very possible this issue has been corrected, though.

It lets me stay in touch and grow my reader engagement (I'm an author).

My least favourite thing is the troublesome hoops you have to jump through to integrate with WooCommerce - it's a LOT of mysterious keys and check boxes that can be confusing if you're not used to working with those systems all the time. But I think that's on the WooCommerce side rather than Mailerlite to be honest.

**What do you like best about MailerLite?**

If you are a beginner, MailerLite is easy to use.  They offer tutorials so you know how to create the emails you will send to readers of your website.  You can choose how soon you want to show a pop up "ad" (asking your website's visitors to subscribe.)  After that number of seconds (or minute) the "ad" pops up offering your readers a chance to subscribe to your website. You get to design that pop up ad, and you can choose the easiest option.  When you add your own photo (I used a photo of my roses), it looks beautiful and professional.  You can send out an email each week to let readers you have posted a new article.  MailerLite never loses the subscribers who sign up, so you can easily get the weekly email out to them.  You just click on the current subscriber list, and they are the ones who receive your email.  If you are a non-tech person  like me, you can choose the easiest method to write your weekly emails.  There are many other companies that offer email subscriber service, but they are much harder to use. They are not easy for a beginner.  My website has been up and running for nearly 2 years, and I have never had trouble using MailerLite.

No problems so far, and I've been with MailerLite for nearly 2 years now.

When I clean out the cookies on my computer, MailerLite has sent me an error message, somehow not recognizing me, even when I log in correctly. But I have contacted customer service, and they quickly fix this so I can still log in.

First it is a little confusing with the two different versions of MailerLite (classic and new), but once I set it up and read a little bit of the documentation, it was clear.

The number of features MailerLite includes in its free plan is crazy. And it just gets better with the paid tiers! All of that is great, of course, but what I really like most is its ease of use. I'm a digital business manager for coaches and counselors and I have had clients move off of other "bigger" platforms to MailerLite and they are thrilled! I also love how well it integrates with other products/platforms. Crucial in my work. Customer support is great. Implementation (even most parts of migrating from the old MailerLite to the New) is smooth. Between my own emails and client ones, I probably am in there 20-30 times per week -- heavy user!

I honestly haven't found a down side -- especially once you get into the paid plans.

-landing page builder is also solid
-this software would be okay for someone who only has one mailing list/newsletter they send out. we have a few, and it absolutely does not provide all that we need

- the analytics are... SO... bad. no way to even check basic metrics like growth of a group . im updating this a year later to reflect that they still are SOO buggy and minimal
- the analytics provided are almost always inaccurate or broken (this company literally cost me thousands of dollars in money i had to refund because they gave me incorrect data, which i in turn gave to customers)
- email customer support on more than one occasion has provided (and then strongly defended) completely incorrect information, until i ask to speak to someone else, who confirms that the first support rep was completely off base (for example, about what a certain data point means, or how to perform a certain task)
- automation builder contains numerous problems. for example, you cant easily modify steps in the middle of an automation.
- subscriber management is onerous
- constant constant bugs that affect my readers' experience. such as mailerlite breaking links and not knowing how to fix it.

I've been using MailerLite for a few years now, and switched from Classic to the New interface, which I love as it seems to be a lot more simple to use. However, when I have had issues, the help from customer service is top notch, and Mailerlite go above and beyond, in my experience to help you fix the issue, or how to use a feature. I especially love the ease of setting up automations.

**What do you dislike about MailerLite?**

The only thing I dislike, is the pricing structure, I wish there was more levels, as it's a big jump in numbers of subscribers and the amount you pay. But I am happy with Mailerlite overall.

I needed to set up systems to warm up and old, cold list of subscribers, using automation and landing pages, and it was confusing with the new system which I'm not as familiar with, and the CS agent went above and beyond to helping me work through and get everything right!

I was frustrated trying to migrate to the new MailerLite, but had an excellent experience with Jaycille in customer support, who walked me through How to verify, authenticate and align your domain. I've found it very easy to use. I hope the new version is also simple. I don't need bells and whistles, so hope it doesn't get complicated. Help articles and customer support are helpful.

It can be a little bumpy to use, especially since I don't use it very often. But I can usually figure it out. Help pages are usually helpful.
